    Travel Sales Consultant

    • As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will be a member of our sales team answering client enquiries, creating bookings, and delivering brilliant customer service, with the aim of delivering commercial growth in line with business objectives. This will be achieved by following a dedicated sales framework, service and quality assurance and keeping commercial targets at the forefront of what you do. You will work with the rest of the sales team, as well as other key departments within the business, to achieve booking targets and consistently achieve stretch key performance indicators. Your focus will be on excellent customer service, proactive pipeline lead management and should be driven by the consistent achievement of targets.

    What you will be doing:

    • Follow up on incoming and existing enquiries with our customers, over the phone, through email and Livechat in order to have detailed conversations to establish their travel preferences and build important relationships
    • Prepare detailed, accurate, and high-quality itineraries. Establishing rapport and identifying our customers’ needs are key objectives to closing the sale
    • Working to KPI’s and achieving sales targets
    • Processing bookings from enquiry level through to taking a deposit
    • Booking flights on GDS system
    • Offering outstanding customer service at all times

    What we are looking for:

    • Strong sales background with experience and success in a previous sales position from the travel industry.
    • Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for adventure travel
    • Used to working to and achieving sales targets
    • Excellent listening and communication skills
    • Genuine passion for excellence in customer care
    • Likes to get their sleeves rolled up and be involved
    • Knowledge of Amadeus / Galileo GDS system useful
