    Trialogue Social Impact Advisory

    Associate Role

    • Trialogue is a niche corporate responsibility consultancy with more than two decades of industry research and experience. We provide thought leadership and support to our clients in the sustainability and corporate social investment (CSI) areas, through our four divisions – Integrated Reporting, ESG Advisory, Thought Leadership and Social Impact Advisory.
    • The Social Impact Advisory team is growing, and we are looking to expand our pool of Associates (independent contractors). The permanent Trialogue team works with Associates on a project-by-project basis. Whilst the type of projects vary according to client needs, we mainly focus on strategy development and monitoring and evaluation support.

    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • University degree, preferably with a monitoring and evaluation post-graduate qualification
    • Minimum five years’ experience in corporate social investment
    • Minimum five years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation
    • Minimum five years’ management consulting experience, including project management.

    Competencies and Skills:

    • A firm interest in the role of business in society and social development
    • Ability to understand and apply conceptual frameworks
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Strong research skills, including ability to design research instruments
    • Ability to collate large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data into detailed and concise reports and summaries
    • Strong monitoring and evaluation skills and experience
    • Fine attention to detail
    • Strategic thinking ability
    • Stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
    • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
    • Flexible and adaptable – comfortable with complexity, ability to create structure.

    Preference will be given to:

    • Candidates with a strong culture fit. Trialogue’s values are Integrity, Excellence and Respect.
    • Candidates with strong data analytics and visualisation skills (e.g. power BI)
    • BEE candidates.
