    Writer

    The writer will work across thought leadership platforms, writing in-depth and summary articles, case studies, media releases and opinion pieces. The writer will also write content for a range of marketing material, including newsletters, mailers, social media, digital platforms and print promotional material.

    Required skills:

    • A graduate qualification
    • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading capabilities
    • Minimum five years’ experience in research and writing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Sharepoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Deep understanding of the role of business in society and social development
    • Self-motivator who works well under pressure

    Advantageous:

    • Experience in corporate social investment / sustainability / development

    Senior Consultant: Corporate Sustainability and ESG Advisory

    About Trialogue’s ESG Advisory services

    • Trialogue provides support on embedding material ESG elements of sustainable business based on our holistic integrated thinking model. Analysis of a corporate performance against this model assists companies in identifying actions and processes that can be improved to advance internal integrated thinking and ESG performance across the business. We support a blue-chip book of South African and multinational corporate clients.

    Specific services include:

    • gap analysis and benchmarking

    Integrated Thinking

    • Trialogue has developed an integrated thinking framework for assessing the status of adoption of integrated thinking within a business. The analysis serves to identify levels of adoption and to frame a roadmap for advancing integrated thinking practices. This can be set out as a sustainability strategy and roadmap, that combines aspirations, priorities, capacity and resources and timelines. It also enables a company to identify ‘quick wins’ and make conscious choices about where practices are to be improved and over what time period.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Develop proposals and budgets
    • Manage projects and client relationships
    • Design or amend existing consultancy tools for client requirement
    • Provide excellent guidance and assistance on sustainability matters to corporate clients
    • Conduct integrated thinking and related sustainability assessments
    • Design presentations, write reports and prepare workbooks for clients
    • Run workshops with clients
    • Conduct reviews to ensure lessons learnt are integrated for future assignments
    • Meet important milestones, while ensuring professional relationships are enhanced and preserved

    Minimum academic qualifications and experience:

    • Qualifications: Post-graduate degree with a focus on sustainability.
    • Experience: 5 years’ experience in corporate sustainability consulting and/or management consulting

    Integrated Reporting Specialist

    We are looking for a competent Integrated Reporting Specialist, based in Johannesburg, to work on client projects focusing on integrated reporting, including governance and remuneration as well as sustainability reports. You will be fulfilling a senior role in the report writing, programme and project management and client liaison.

    Responsibilities & duties will include, but are not limited to:

    • Provide best practice reporting advice to assist in the compilation of integrated and/or sustainability reports for our clients
    • Assess and engage companies regarding their gaps in integrated reporting that incorporates integrated thinking and sustainability into their overall strategy
    • Facilitate client workshops
    • Ensure programme and project management
    • Meet important milestones, while ensuring professional relationships are enhanced and preserved
    • Interview client representatives at Board and Exco levels
    • Perform ad-hoc research
    • Engage designers and partners
    • Draft, edit and produce high-end reports

    Qualifications – Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate or post-graduate degree in journalism, communications, corporate governance, sustainability, accounting, management accounting or a related field. A newly qualified CA(SA) would also qualify.

    Experience:

    • 3 years’ experience in integrated reporting – analysis, preparation and development

    Trialogue Social Impact Advisory

    Associate Role

    • Trialogue is a niche corporate responsibility consultancy with more than two decades of industry research and experience. We provide thought leadership and support to our clients in the sustainability and corporate social investment (CSI) areas, through our four divisions – Integrated Reporting, ESG Advisory, Thought Leadership and Social Impact Advisory.
    • The Social Impact Advisory team is growing, and we are looking to expand our pool of Associates (independent contractors). The permanent Trialogue team works with Associates on a project-by-project basis. Whilst the type of projects vary according to client needs, we mainly focus on strategy development and monitoring and evaluation support.

    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • University degree, preferably with a monitoring and evaluation post-graduate qualification
    • Minimum five years’ experience in corporate social investment
    • Minimum five years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation
    • Minimum five years’ management consulting experience, including project management.

    Competencies and Skills:
