Truck Driver (4 TON) X3 at Madibeng Local Municipality

• Salary: R159 003.36 (Post level 15)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic Literacy Code C Drivers’ License with PrDP (PDP)
• 1 – 2 years’ experience

KEY PERFORMANCES AREAS:

• Carry out the prescribed pre-trip inspection by seeing that the oil, fuel, water, fan belt, lights, mirrors, brakes and tires of the vehicle are in order. •
• Report any problems to supervisor. Ensure that the vehicle is clean.
• Drive the truck from base to working sites. Transport workers and equipment.
• Ensure the safety of workers during loading and off -loading operations. Make sure that refuse (grass, branches, litter, etc.) are properly loaded onto the truck and off loaded by the workers
• Transporting tools to various areas. Transporting officials to various areas to perform their duties.
• Digging and trimming holes for planting of trees. Spraying herbicides and pesticides as directed by supervisor.
• Cleaning and removing rubble. Also performing other duties as indicated by supervisor. Transporting equipment to various parks and municipal gardens.
