Tutor | Bryanston | R300 - R350 Per Hour at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for a TUTOR for their 2 sons
• Area: Bryanston
• Children’s Ages: 11 year old (Grade 5) and 9 year old (Grade 3) - Boys
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: 11 year old has ADD – struggles to concentrate, he needs structure and repetition.
• Support Style: On medication (Ritalin) for it. He attends speech and remedial therapy.
• Working hours: Wednesday 13:30 - 15:30, and Friday 14:00 - 16:00
• School holiday hours: TBC – may be needed ad hoc during holidays with prior notice.  
• Duties: Meet at home, monitoring homework, studying, and revision; supporting the development of effective study skills and providing ongoing academic guidance, particularly to the eldest child who has ADD and ensure the children remain on track academically and with their various activities.
• Special Requirements: We need someone who has experience working with a child with ADD. Qualifications in this regard would be preferred but is NOT a must. Overall experience matters more. Need a soft spoken, and organised individual.
• Start Date and contract term: September – permanent  
• Salary: R300 - R350 per hour

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
