Job Description

• This job reports directly into the manufacturing operations manager and involves the complete management of a production/ engineering unit in Manufacturing, including financial, Culture & People Development, quality, technical and operational aspects in line with world class manufacturing practices. You will be responsible for creating a culture of excellence, accountability, resilience and commitment. This culture includes establishing a daily demonstration of ‘Make It Better’.
•  Manage the Unit under the guidance of KORE requirements in an optimal manner by employing world class manufacturing practices
• Saftey, Health, Environment, Quality, and Food Saftey (SHEQ) Responsibilities 
• Optimise Bottling Unit
• Manage and support the unit to achieve World Class Manufacturing Standards
• Lead Team
• Financial Management
• Participate in and report on equipment and technical trials / Initiatives 
• Develop supplier relationships and internal customers 

Skills, Experience & Education

• Minimum of a 3 year National Diploma (NQF6) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field 
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing role within a FMCG environment, preferably beverage industry
• Financial Management t experience advantageous 
• Experience in leading a team
• Maintenance Planning advantageous
• MS office proficient
• World Class Manufacturing Best Practices
