User Experience Specialist at Valenture Institute

The role:

You’ll be joining tight-knit, high performance team who are passionate and love what they do. The environment is fast-paced, filled with rapid experimentation and heavily data driven. Your daily role will include the analysis of heatmaps & visitor recordings, low and high fidelity prototyping and writing front-end production code . You’ll deep dive into data to deliver insight that help us better understand and engage with our audience through our website eco-system. Our objective is to build trust with our audience through frictionless, thought out digital experiences.

You’re curiuos by nature and have a thirst for knowledge. The industry moves at a rapid pace and you stay up to speed with the latest trends but also know how to identify the fads. You have an eye for design and strong-attention to detail. You’re highly organised but are also agile enough to develop and execute off-the-cuff strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing UIs
• Prototyping
• Designing for the medium
• Building tools to improve the UX process
• Analysis of UX related data such as heatmaps and website recordings
• Bringing delight to users

Minimin Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of coding experience in one or more of the listed languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with and passion for user-interface design.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js) and CSS pre-processing frameworks
• Experience with communicating to all levels of users (internal and external), demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
• Demonstrated sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility.
