Job Description
This is a remote position.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences by understanding user needs, conducting research, and designing user interfaces that optimize usability and functionality. This 17 month project will be remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX/UI Design, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role, preferably in a tech-related industry.
• Airline or retail industry experience is a must
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design principles, problem-solving skills, and a range of design deliverables.
• Knowledge of user research methodologies, usability principles, and design thinking processes.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate and defend design decisions.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
• Translate user insights and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure seamless integration of user interfaces into product development.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data analysis to continually improve and refine the user experience.
• Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and UI kits to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design
