UX Designer at DigiOutsource

Purpose of the Role:

• We are looking for a Midweight User Experience (UX) Designer able to understand our business requirements and translate those into user flows and designs for the projects on our product roadmap. Additionally, you will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, competitor analysis, and translating them into user flows, customer journeys, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes. The Midweight UX Designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with A/B and user testing.

Duties include, but not limited to:

•     Analyse business requirements and translate those into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
•     A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis and usability concerns.
•     Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions that will optimise conversion.
•     Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the business needs and vision.
•     Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and an understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
•     Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions.
•     Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.

Essential Criteria:

•     Experienced in using GA to take data-driven design decisions.
•     Expertise in standard UX software and prototyping tools.
•     Ability to lead user and competitor research, data analysis, journeys and flows.
•     Help take the lead in user testing, focus groups, A/B testing and surveys.
•     Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and site maps.
•     Ability to design with data.
•     Collaborate with UX/UI designers and take the lead from a UX perspective on small and medium-sized projects.
•     Able to create design systems and style-guides.
•     Ability to mentor Junior UI team members.
•     Strong presentation skills, able to present designs to the UX/UI team, Creative Department and Stakeholders.
•     Candidates without portfolios will not be considered.
