CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Maximize customer service levels at low costs & propose customer service improvement methods
• Hold regular feedback sessions with internal/external customers to ensure continual improvement. - Internal customers include: Sales and Marketing Departments, Support Functions, Demand Team, ACW Warehouse 
• Facilitate synergy between Sales, Marketing, Operations and all Support functions through: - Integrated philosophy, policy and procedures, Integrated logistics info and decision support systems, Balance between control and execution processes

DEPLOYMENT

• Manage Deployment requirements as per company demand policy
• Assist in managing excess, short-dated and unsalable stock
• Manage replenishment and receipting deviations to Service Agreements for Third Party service providers
• Monitor in-transit Warehouse
• Work in liaison with demand management to effectively deploy new products
• Assisting in the transfer of ownership of stock to Aspen third party logistics providers 

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

• Align Value chain policies with the driving forces of the market environments
• Managing of these third party logistics providers based on the Service Levels.
• Validating of monthly SLAs from suppliers.

VALUE CHAIN STRATEGY

• To ensure optimum integration between product / service value flows, market accommodation flows, and cash flows through third party logistics providers
• Convert into Operational Plan and communicate to organization
• Practical contingency plans, aspects, risks, failure mechanisms and contingency plans are sourced and tested for implementation as well as effective integration of Sales and Operations Planning

CHAIN INTEGRATION

• Maximize shareholder value by means of cost minimization, profitable growth, working capital efficiency, fixed capital efficiency
• Balance the control processes with operation processes
• Ensure all aspects of exporting products are addressed and appropriate systems and controls are in place.
• Ensure that all aspects of imported finished goods are addressed and appropriate systems and controls are in place to clear the goods and get the stock available for sale.

-Value of samples for Quality Assurance releases are managed & processes are adhered to

DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM

• Mapping of business process and to develop logistics information systems and reporting procedures in conjunction with IT
• ERP and EDI systems are in place
• Review integrated business management system o Logistics information systems  

PROJECTS

• Managing ad-hoc projects as and when required

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION:

• Matric
• B. Com Logistics/ Business Economics / Marketing/ Supply Chain Logistics Diploma 

EXPERIENCE:

• 4-6 years’ experience in a Value Chain/Supply Chain or similar environment in Pharmaceutical / FMCG industry
• 2-3 years financial experience within a Value Chain environment
• Market Research, Budgeting, Stock Control, ERP Systems
