Hello Group is seeking to appoint a dedicated VAS (Value-Added Services) Telesales Consultant who will be responsible for promoting and selling value-added products and services to existing and potential customers via outbound and inbound calls. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, enhancing customer experience, mining databases, and conducting market research to maximize revenue through effective communication, relationship building, and customer retention.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to promote VAS products and services
Handle inbound customer inquiries related to value-added services
Handle inbound sales leads, which will be provided
Assist in obtaining and deriving leads through a multi-phased approach
Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions clearly and accurately.
Identify customer needs and provide feedback on market trends and preferences
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Upsell and cross-sell relevant services to increase customer value
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems
Follow up on leads and pending sales opportunities
Redirect customer service issues and customer complaints professionally and deliver customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Minimum Requirements
Matric with an active pursuit of additional skills
Proven experience in telesales, call centre, or customer service roles (preferred)
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Good listening skills and a customer-focused mindset
Be able to close a deal and ensure customer buy-in
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office
