Vendor Administrator at Mintek

Maintain an accurate vendor database and conduct supplier performance evaluations and due diligence.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Maintain the vendor master database on the ERP system.
• Periodic vendor database clean-up.
• Maintain the preferred supplier database.
• Vendor/supplier on boarding.
• Amendment of vendor information on the vendor database.
• Maintain accurate and updated vendor records i.e. B-BBEE certificate, COIDA certificates of good standing, CSD records etc.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
• Report on supplier performance evaluations on a monthly basis.
• Conduct supplier site visits and due diligence as and when required and keep records thereof.
• Maintain detailed and organized files.
• Participate in SCM divisional presentations.
• Identify opportunities for supplier rationalization.
• Create vendor classifications.
• Establish and maintain a material product catalogue.

Participate in the annual BBBEE verification.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Min: National Diploma in Finance, Supply Chain or related field
• Min: 2-5 years in vendor/supplier administration training
• 2 years’ experience as a Vendor/Supplier Administrator
• 2 years’ experience as Vendor Controller
