VIP Host at Sportingbet South Africa

Job Description:

Your role as VIP Host will be servicing high-value and VIP customers for a leading South African online sportsbook and casino. You will be solely responsible for the retention and yield maximization of these customers which will see you building close relationships with players by providing excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for taking ownership of the brand’s VIP function. This will include the day-to-day management of VIPs but also devising and executing strategies on how to retain and maximize the yield from these players over the long term.

Job Responsibilities:

• Individual VIP account management.
• Pro-active relationship building through varied communication channels.
• Resolution of customer queries, complaints, technical problems, and special requests.
• Pro-active customer behavioral analysis and yield maximization strategy.
• Customer profitability and yield management via appropriate bonusing, gifting, hospitality, and other initiatives.
• Strategic management of big winners.
• VIP portfolio reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven 1-2 years of working experience in a VIP or Outbound Host sales environment within online gambling.
• Excellent customer service methods and techniques.
• Excellent sports and sports betting knowledge. Casino knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English. Other South African languages are advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong telecommunication skills and written communication.
• Personable, outgoing and a seamless communicator who is knowledgeable in varied topics.
• Great organizational and time-management skills.
• Degree or Diploma will be advantageous.
