Voucher Examiner - Employees of Mission - All/or USEFMs EFMs or MOHs at U.S. Embassy South Africa

Duties

• The incumbent performs the full range of voucher examining, accounts payable and accounts receivable services for all subscribed ICASS Agencies within the Mission.  Participates in financial operations to ensure payments and receivables are processed in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Reports to Supervisory Voucher Examiner or other designated as such as the immediate supervisor.  Matters of policy interpretation are discussed and approved by supervisor.

Requirements:

All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a

• security certificate; or 
• Background investigation security clearance. 
• All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam.  
• Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time [12 weeks] upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Education Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of college or university studies (or local equivalent) in finance, accounting, business administration or related field is required.
