Waiter at Crew Life at Sea

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they enter the dining room and escort them to their table
• Present menus and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the system
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure all orders are accurate and of high quality
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables
• Assist with preparing and clearing tables as needed
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and fellow crew members
• Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service and a memorable dining experience for guests
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or other superiors

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
