CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Ensure the efficient functioning of the reception, admission and cashier areas.
• Welcome and direct patients and visitors to appropriate areas.
• Assist with the completion of admission documentation.
• Capture admission information in time and accurately.
• Ensure that all patients admitted have the required authorisation and/ or made the required payments prior to admission.
• Ensure accuracy in taking and allocating of payments.
• Assist at reception areas as / when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric / Grade 12
• Office Administration qualification is advantageous
• At least 2 years administration experience in a medical facility
• AS400 System experience advantageous
• Understanding of medical schemes and admission processes
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365 and have good typing skills.
• Billing and stock take experience preferable
