Warehouse Supervisor - Western Cape at Helderberg Personnel

• The warehouse supervisors main function is to ensure smooth warehouse operations and monitor and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures. They will also be required to assist in any of the functions within the warehouse where required.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Supervision of warehouse staff
• Manage the flow of operations in the warehouse
• Identify bottle neck-necks and assist in any area of the warehouse where needed
• Delegation of warehouse actions
• Communication between departments
• Feedback on staff productivity and monitoring thereof
• Stock control, dispatch inspections
• Oversee the receiving process verify deliveries, ensure correct paperwork is processed timeously
• Report and investigate stock integrity issues
• Inform CCOM of any non-compliance or risk
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Housekeeping duties
• Manage and perform Cycle Counts and Stock Takes
• Keep up to date with product knowledge
• Follow company policies and procedures

• Able body to perform walk and checks

• Leadership skills
• Proper warehouse practice experience
• Experience in damage control and mitigation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Tertiary qualification would be advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years receiving, dispatch and warehouse functions experience
• Previous experience in SYSPRO or related ERP system will be an advantage
