Be ready and willing to work various shifts, including Saturdays, as required by the job schedule.
Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles, recording and verifying the weight data.
Communicate effectively with truck drivers, ensuring compliance with weighing procedures and addressing any discrepancies.
Execute duties efficiently even in high-pressure situations, taking the initiative to address challenges as they arise, including the organisation of transport logistics for trucks.
Coordinate and manage the flow of vehicles in and out of the weighbridge area to maintain efficiency.
Generate reports on weighing activities, discrepancies, and any issues encountered during operations.
Ensure that all relevant documents, such as weighbridge tickets and shipping manifests, are accurately completed and in compliance with legal requirements.
Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of the weighbridge equipment.
