The team at Babylonstoren is looking for the best Wine Sales Representative to take them to the next level.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the liquor industry or as Sales Representative
• Extensive wine knowledge
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Valid driver’s license & own reliable vehicle
• Strong commercial ability to make good judgements and take quick decisions
• An outgoing personality as well as a passion for sales
• Knowledge of liquor sale laws in the jurisdictions in which they will be operating.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trade initiatives ensuring that volume and activation targets are achieved consistently.
• Ensure that all opportunities are identified to maximize business portfolio growth.
• Consistently sell in-model stock ensuring that out-of-stock scenarios are avoided wherever possible.
• Update clients on new product launches
• Promote new products in a way that maximises exposure for the brand
• Keep the sales team informed about changes to products and vintages
• Assist in developing marketing strategies
• They must work closely with the wine marketing manager. Knowledge of the wine market and customer demographic will be key to producing successful marketing campaigns.
• Assist with logistics to ensure an adequate supply of wine and stock available to meet sale forecasts and for special events.
• Support clients with any need they may have regarding wine sales.
