    WPO Coordinator

    Position Description

    The main purpose of the role is to ensure the day-to-day operations of Workplace organization, driving of Continuous improvements culture, support Production Manager, Production Leaders, and Operations teams on maintaining a robust WPO standards.

    Reporting: This position reports to the Production Manager.

    Job Objectives:

    • Deliver sustainable WPO (Work-Place Organization) culture.
    • Plan, organize and control WPO activities across all mainline stations, pre-assemblies, and logistics.
    • Coordinate, Maintain, control, and sustain Continuous Improvement Culture.
    • Create and drive a sustainable 5S culture.
    • Coaching and development for cross-functional Teams on WPO methodology and Lean principles.
    • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction.
    • Support Production Leaders maintain high WPO standards, on day-to-day basis.
    • Plan, facilitating, and executing WPO activities using WPO methodology
    • Teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on WPO tools and methodology
    • Continuously assessments and improve processes on the production line, pre-assemblies, and logistics
    • Coordinate and participate in WPO action meetings.
    • Ability to work independently.

    Qualification & Job Experience:

    • National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
    • At least 3-5 years' relevant manufacturing experience.
    • Automotive background is an added advantage.
    • Lean Manufacturing training will be an added advantage.

    Key Competencies:

    • Technical product knowledge (Commercial Vehicles).
    • Computer Literacy (Excel, MS Project and CAD).

    • Production Systems knowledge will be an advantage.
