Manage, coordinate and control City Wide Debt Management for Water and Sanitation Service
Responsible for debt management projects
Analyse data into valuable information to inform decision-making
Review water debtors to ensure timeous collection of outstanding water debt, working with the relevant City business units
Manage the debt collection process to ensure continuous increase of collection ratios
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Section within the depot and administrative environment
Drive system and process enhancements to ensure efficient use of all resources and continuous improved performance
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and City policies, manage accountability requirements and the system of delegations
Lead in coordinating and facilitating meetings with all internal and external stakeholders
Ensure that appropriate internal service level agreements within the Branch are established and monitor compliance.
Continuously review, identify and implement new business processes to ensure continuous improvements of the debt management functioning and contribution towards the sustainability of water and sanitation service
