Duties:

•  Assisting with the general household administration including but not limited to the following: booking of flights; shopping, household and family related administration.
• Booking appointments for the employer and children Collecting the children from school and extra murals. Homework and school project supervision.
• Assisting with anything childcare related. Engage the children in intellectually stimulating play and activities (employee to keep up to date with and implement appropriate developmentally stimulating techniques and activities).
• Transport children to doctors or any other appointments. Using petty cash/petrol card/family credit card to purchase school supplies and any other items the children require. Accompany children on outings. Ad hoc errands.
• Monitoring of the school communication and administration. Proactive communication with parents.
• Requirements: Computer Literate, well spoken in English and Afrikaans would be a bonus, use their own initiative

Option 1: Au Pair.

• Working hours: Monday – Friday: 13h30 – 19h00
• School holiday hours: Three days per week (days to be confirmed): 13h30 – 19h00

Duties:

• Collecting from school, transporting to and from extra murals, assisting with homework supervision, general childcare and assisting with anything childcare related, candidate must be strong in Afrikaans and Maths, able to tutor in Grade 2 and Grade 5 Maths, Afrikaans, English and Natural science.

Option 2: Tutor.

• Working hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 16h30 – 18h30  
• School holiday hours: not required, only needed within school terms.

Duties: 

• Household manager and PA duties, grocery shopping and managing the fridge and food levels, preparing dinner and meals for the week including lunch boxes, meal prep for the weekends, occasionally take the boys to extra murals, get to know the boys at the beginning and the role will grow into more Au Pair duties. Running family errands, etc. Managing the air BNB, checking in guests occasionally and managing that stock take, etc.
• Special Requirements: Female or Male, 20 – 35 years old, Someone with events management or PA background, someone who is able to cook, passionate about food and on top of cooking duties (diverse cooking skills – not the normal spaghetti and able to prepare healthy meals, Asian cuisine, etc.)
