    Payroll Specialist - South Africa

    Job Description

    • The Specialist, Payroll is responsible for day-to-day execution of payroll processes.
    • This position is responsible for verifying, processing and maintaining payroll programs with speed, accuracy and in compliance with service and performance objectives.
    • Responsible for the collection, verification, processing, filing and monitoring of monthly payroll information for specific country/region
    • Plan, coordinate, and implement off-cycle payroll processing and reporting
    • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and concise payroll records for Audit and Compliance
    • Respond to tickets/queries on payroll questions in a timely manner and provide resolution
    • Monitor changes in legislation, update to tax rules and collaborate with the Payroll team to recommend changes
    • Actively partner with external parties/payroll vendors (where applicable) and government institutions for social security administration, pensions, etc.
    • Adhere to strict data protection standards in handling of highly confidential and sensitive information
    • Assist in global work and initiatives as needed

    Payroll Supervisor - South Africa

    Job Description

    • The Supervisor, Payroll is responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of payroll processes.
    • This position is responsible for advising a team in evaluating, analyzing, and administering payroll programs, while ensuring payroll is successfully processed with speed, accuracy, and in compliance with service and performance objectives.
    • Monitors and executes payroll processes to ensure consistent and accurate payroll in compliance with local payroll practices, authoritative controls, government regulations, statutory regulations, internal procedures, and SOX controls
    • Act as point of contact for team members and provide resolution on escalated operational or policy issues; identifies complex problem resolution that needs to be escalated to Payroll Manager
    • Lead team in coordination with internal Finance teams, and other stakeholders, to ensure accuracy and financial integrity of the payroll process and support audit review
    • Reconcile payroll and tax reporting at the end of each pay cycle and resolve any discrepancies
    • Plan, coordinate, and implement off-cycle payroll processing and reporting; act as point of contact for unplanned payroll processing
    • Analyze complex pay transactions to identify issues and work with internal stakeholders to determine root cause
    • Lead team in the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the Payroll process, working within the local payroll systems and global HRIS tools
    • Follows trends, changes in legislation/regulation, updates to tax rules, and local payroll control procedures in order to make recommendations for changes and improvements
    • Assist in global work and initiatives as needed

    Customer Service Advisor - Umhlanga Ridge

    What you will do in this role:

    • Answer incoming calls to assist customers with placing new orders, processing returns and exchanges, and general customer queries
    • Occasional outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries originating from an inbound call
    • Ninja like skills on the internet, including the ability to leap through multiple sites/systems with lightning speed
    • Building personal emotional connections with each customer while delivering WOW customer service

    Your qualifications and experience

    Experience
