• Maintain and enhance models for IFRS reserves, SAM SCR, and technical provisions
• Support capital projections and ORSA reporting
• Assist with IFRS 17 modelling (LRC & LIC) and implementation
• Automate actuarial processes and reporting
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory and performance matters
• Drive capital optimisation initiatives for clients and internal cells

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science
• 3+ years in non-life actuarial work
• Progress toward FASSA
• Advanced Excel, strong MS SQL & programming experience
• Solid grasp of Prudential Standards, SAM, and IFRS17

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide data-driven insights to support product development, rating structures, and business strategy.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product, and data teams to align pricing with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, risk appetite, and actuarial best practices.
• Analyse performance data to recommend model improvements and identify market opportunities.
• Support internal stakeholders with expert actuarial advice and operational input.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ actuarial pricing experience in the short-term (general) insurance industry.
• A minimum of 9 completed actuarial exams.
• Strong proficiency in statistical software, pricing tools, and data analytics platforms (e.g., R, Python, Emblem, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• A passion for innovation, efficiency, and strategic modelling.
