    Operator I

    Purpose of the Job

    • The purpose of an Operator I is to provide first-line technical support and problem-solving. Operator I is a highly collaborative role, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs to deliver the right solutions, while acting as a trusted partner.
    • The role assists with monitoring the health of the IT Infrastructure and escalating when necessary. Reporting to the Team Leader, the role is accountable for participating in the required support activities.

    Job Objectives

    • Maintain frequent and time-consuming monitoring of operating systems.
    • Support the team with Monitoring and executing system backups.
    • Monitoring of store data interchange.
    • Assist with data recovery and disaster recovery.
    • Support generator and UPS testing.
    • Proactively work to support the team in the achievement of ensuring backup media is moved off-site.
    • Ensure the operation of network and system monitoring systems for stakeholders.
    • Continuous monitoring of Data Center Infrastructure.
    • Timeously responding to exceptions according to SLA.
    • Participate in System and Server Monitoring.
    • Develop an awareness of a wide spectrum of IT technologies.
    • Assist the Cyber Security team with First Line Support.
    • Perform additional duties and responsibilities when requested

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 - Mandatory
    • Any IT related certification – (preferred)
    • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Database or related field - (beneficial)

    Experience

    • Experience in monitoring and operational tools such as SAP and Linux

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Exposure to monitoring and operational tools such as SAP and Linux - (beneficial)
    • Proficiency in MS Office 365 with basic Excel skills – (mandatory).
    • 24/7 On Site operations which requires individual to work shifts, which includes night shift.

    Luminate Store Replenishment Analyst

    Purpose of the Job

    • The main purpose of the position is to support the store operations to create accurate store orders to ensure stock availability and to assist with any inventory related queries and issues. It further involves managing relationships with store managers and suppliers.

    Frontshop Controller

    Purpose of the Job

    • Medirite Plus St George Square is looking for a Frontshop Controller who is customer-focused, hard-working, and adaptable to ensure the smooth operation of in-store retail operations.
    • The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills and enjoy interacting with customers. The Frontshop Controller will be responsible for greeting customers, arranging visual displays, processing customer refunds, and identifying customers' needs to suggest products that will best meet those needs.

    Job Objectives

    • Handling of payments and balance sales and receipts according to company procedure.

    • Processing customer payments using the stores's Point of Sale (POS) system.

    Experience

    • At least 5 months point of sale / till point experience within a retail environment.
    • Proven track record in retail sales, including experience working on the sales floor and behind the cash counter.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Solid understanding of customer service principles.
    • Knowledgeable of stock receiving procedures and merchandising standards.
    • Computer literate.
    • Bilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English.
    • Engaging and friendly personality.
    • Knowledgeable of payment procedures (e.g. cash, cheque, bank card, credit cards, coupons, vouchers).
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
