    Division Manager (Johannesburg)

    Job Overview

    • The Division Manager will oversee the team, ensure smooth daily operations, and foster a high level of productivity and engagement across departments. This individual will manage customer care, coordinate closely with sales, assign and monitor tasks, and actively mediate and adjust team dynamics as needed. As a key point of accountability, the Division Manager will be instrumental in maintaining workflow efficiency and fostering a positive, collaborative office environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership

    • Oversee the team’s daily work, track task completion, and ensure that all deliverables meet expected quality and timelines. 
    • Assign and follow up on tasks for each team member, providing guidance and support where necessary. 
    • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving staff concerns, mediating conflicts, and adjusting team processes as needed to optimize productivity.

    Customer Care Management

    • Lead customer care initiatives, ensuring a responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach to customer inquiries. 
    • Regularly assess and improve customer service processes to enhance satisfaction and retention. 
    • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve customer service effectiveness.

    Sales Support & Coordination

    • Work closely with the sales team, staying involved in sales activities to ensure alignment with office goals and objectives. 
    • Monitor sales tasks, track progress, and ensure that each team member is equipped to meet their targets. 
    • Provide feedback to the sales team on performance, suggest strategies for improvement, and foster a results-driven culture.

    Office Operations & Reporting

    • Ensure daily operations run smoothly, with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and positive team morale. 
    • Implement and track KPIs across the team, maintaining accountability for each department's goals.
    • Provide regular reports to management, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and recommendations for ongoing improvements.

    Junior Finance Manager (Johannesburg)

    Job details

    • As Junior Finance Manager for the Group, you will assist the Head of Finance with financial reporting, budgeting and compliance for the local and international entities.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Perform a full function of financial management duties including preparing monthly management accounts, preparing tax returns, bank reconciliations, generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports and assessing the financial health of the company.
    • Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures, processes and control.
    • Prepare monthly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
    • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
    • Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
    • Manage year end audits and review company financial statements
    • Manage various other small audits, such as for SARS, banks, royalties, BEE and so on.

    Requirements

    • Demonstrates understanding of all facets of business operations and interactions, a sound working knowledge of financial management, numeracy, and attention to detail.
    • Strong understanding and application of SA income tax, VAT, and other tax legislations.
    • High level computer literacy (including MS Office / Excel). Working experience in a financial environment; knowledge of online computer, applications
    • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and plan work, handle a diversity of tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines consistently, manage projects and cope under pressure.
    • The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Accountants and Junior Accountants
    • Demonstrates commitment to teamwork, service, integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Decisive and assertive with capability to build/maintain professional relationships.
    • Sound working knowledge of accounting practices coupled with ability to write advanced macros and produce high level spreadsheets and financial modelling.

    E-commerce Administrator (Johannesburg)

    • The main purpose of this role is to free up the key account managers’ time and focus on admin, so that they can rather focus on sales strategies that develop and enhance buyer and product manager relationships online product enrichments and online promotions.
    • This position will report directly to the eCommerce Executive Key Accounts Manager & the Creative Director.

    E-commerce Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist ecommerce staff with the daily processing of orders ensuring maximum 2-day turn around for picking, packing and delivery. Includes the printing of orders, packing lists, loading lists and delivery waybills.
    • Send approved sales and purchase orders to warehouse for deliveries and follow up to ensure deliveries have been made.
    • Assist eCommerce Key Account Managers with resolving customer complaints in a timely and courteous fashion.
    • Maintain and update pricing as needed for promotions and specials.
    • Maintaining sales records and files as per company and departmental policy.
    • Assisting where needed with improvements to online listings and identifying opportunities.
    • Follow up with returns regarding credits, replacements, and repairs.
    • Notifying customers on the progress of their orders where applicable.
    • Manage stock and ensuring forecasts are correct and stock on hand across relevant platforms as well as advise which stock is end of life, so that the account managers can run relevant promotions.
    • Ensure correctly marked waybills and/or paperwork is sent to relevant stakeholders in time -where applicable.
    • Update stock files per account and send to buyers as per their request, daily and/or weekly.
    • Assisting in the maintenance of relationships with all buyers and their assistants to ensure consistent communication.

    Skills and Competencies: 

    • Exceptional communication skills – written & verbal.
    • Must be proficient in Excel – Pivot Tables and Charts, V-Look Up, Data sorting and analysis
    • Must be tech savvy, the role requires you to be fluid in your ability to quickly learn how to use new CRM and Stock management systems as well embrace new system developments

    • Must be a problem solver - who demonstrates determination, grit, resourcefulness and ownership in executing your duties and solving problems.
