Qualifications & Experience:

• If a candidate does not have a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Diploma (in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering), an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Front-End Developer writing advanced JavaScript code.
• Very proficient in coding plain JavaScript from scratch 
• Understands inheritance in JavaScript and advanced JavaScript techniques
• Solid experience writing performant front-end JavaScript code based on MVC JavaScript Frameworks (React is preferred, but AngularJS, Vue, etc. are a good start)
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3 and taking high definition UI & UX designs and producing fast efficient frontend code 

Advanced Experience with CSS pre-compilers such as Less, Sass & SCSS

• Experience producing responsive HTML designs
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge and experience in cross-browser and cross-device compatible solutions including mobile
• Appreciation and understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Identify opportunities where data science methods will significantly improve the Supply Chain division’s performance in the areas of forecasting, capacity planning, scenario modeling, process optimization, complex analysis and reporting
• Providing high quality analysis to the Supply Chain Development team working across all Supply Chain projects
• Providing inputs for the further development of Supply Chain network model and strategy in conjunction with the Analytics team and wider Supply Chain division
• Bridging gap between problems cases and data, from multiple data inputs and systems

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively advise, coach and support line managers on the full range of HR functions and services – including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, job evaluation, remuneration and benefits, new starter administration, on-boarding learning and development ensuring consistency with relevant legislation and company HR policy and procedures.
• Support talent sourcing efforts and help identify exceptional minds. This includes pipeline building, ensuring role planning standups, guiding the hiring managers, and scheduling & participating in interviews where relevant.
• Support recruitment & selection process aligned from job posts to managing interview schedules using our online recruitment tool as well as reference and iFacts checks.

• Draft and distribute monthly input sheets using payroll reports to confirm employee numbers, coordinate payroll input checks and submissions, payroll report checks with support from the HR Officer and ensure payroll is aligned to data captured on Change Forms & HR Tracker
• Coordinate engagement interventions including Employee Engagement Forum (EEF) support and any other intervention.

Qualification & Experience:

• A degree in HR or related field: A minimum of a Bachelor of Technology Degree: HR Management or BCom HR Management or BCom Industrial Psychology or related field
• 3-5 years HR experience in a generalist capacity  
• Experience with HR databases and systems.
• Proven theoretical knowledge of current legislation, labour law and HR policies
• Proven experience in Industrial Relations including the CCMA
