    Programme Coordinator X1 (Northern Cape)

    Description

    • Right To Care is looking for a suitable qualified Programme Coordinator to be based in Postmasburg or Kathu, in the Northern Cape.
    • To manage, coordinate, support, and report on the operational implementation of clinical and operational program activity within the required geographical location.  Training provision to supported facilities and communities in-line with implemented programs.

    Requirements

    Required Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    • A Diploma or Degree in Nursing 
    • Relevant governing body (Certification & Registration)
    • Computer certificate
    • 3 years’ formal project management and training experience, report writing, and presentation development.
    • 3 years’ experience in implementing health programmes, health training and education.

    Desirable Qualifications and Experience 

    • NIMART certificate or Advanced Postgraduate Course or Post-graduate Diploma in Public Health
    • Experience in health program management including HAST programs, monitoring & evaluation
    • Experience in operational management including managing projects, people, and finance

    Key Performance Indicators 

    • Effectively coordinate all activities of program staff in the assigned geographical locations.
    • Provide and/or facilitate the provision of clinical and skills mentorship to teams and other Direct Service Delivery (DSD) staff.
    • Conduct regular meetings as needed with program management to determine their progress, any issues, and any suggested improvements within the programs.
    • Ensure all reports are submitted on time and are of sufficient quality.
    • Ensure teams effectively utilize all company technical expertise available at their disposal including but not limited to Specialists, Technical Advisors, Medical Advisors.
    • Effectively monitor the quality of support rendered to the
    • Department and where gaps are identified, support the implementation of remedial actions.
    • Facilitate and integrate weekly work plans of all partners and teams, review the weekly plan to ensure identified program objectives will be met by the proposed activities and submit all such plans to the Programme Management.
    • Attend all stakeholder meetings as required and give feedback to the teams and management.
    • Provide ongoing Technical Assistance on all operational and clinical issues regarding Primary Health Care, including but not limited to HIV/TB, PMTCT, SRH, NCDs, Mental ,Health Care, Substance Abuse, and GBV .
    • Assist with introduction of new employees to appropriate stakeholders and complete the orientation processes.
    • Ensure all newly employed staff are suitably inducted and capacitated to effectively discharge their duties.
    • Work with DoH District team and Right to Care Training unit to develop joint training plans.
    • Manage proper link between Program Teams, DSD Staff and Right to Care Management at all times.
    •  Assist in and clarify proper lines of communication amongst teams.
    • Ensure proper representation of Right to Care at all relevant activities.
    • Ensure adequate engagement of Right to Care and all relevant stakeholders occur under the direction of the Programme Management
    • Ensure data reviews are conducted on a monthly basis
    • Ensure that the facility progress review sessions take place and QIPs are implemented
    • Liaise with data manager for regular relevant data exports as required
    • Facilitate seamless collaboration and cooperation between the different teams and cadres of staff 
    • Fleet management- work with Program Procurement Officer in the:
    • Management of company car use and prevention of misuse/abuse thereof
    • Traffic offences management
    • Collision damage management
    • Petrol cards and disc validity
    • Roadworthiness and car services and repairs
    • Vehicle requisition
    • Asset management
    • Inventory and loss control
    • Asset procurement and utilization

    Programme Coordinator - Maternal Mental Wellbeing Programme (Limpopo)

    Description

    • Right To Care is looking for a suitable qualified Programme Coordinator to be based in Limpopo
    • Responsible for  planning, tracking, managing and building the relationships required to implement the Mothers Mental Wellbeing Pilot, within the assigned communities. Ensure quality at all levels of programme implementation, monitoring, and reporting.

    Requirements

    Required Minimum Qualifications and Experience :

    • 2 years’ experience in leading successful health programmes and health training.
    • 2 years’ project management.
    • 2 years’ training experience.
    • 2 years’ monitoring and report writing.
    • Track record of developing productive relationships with the Department of Health and other stakeholders
    • Fluent In English and Sepedi

    Desirable Qualifications and Experience :

    • Post-graduate Diploma in Public Health, Mental Health, Project Manager or similar
    • Computer certificate
    • Experience is leading mental health programmes
    • Experience in implementing monitoring systems
    • Experience in operational management, including managing projects, people, and finance

    Project Management

    Clinical Management

    • Provide ongoing Technical Assistance to project staff and health workers on all operational and implementation issues regarding Mental Health Care and Wellbeing of mothers.
    • Remain up to date with relevant Mental Health Care  global and national policy and practice and suggest improvements to project.

    HR and Staff Development

    • Assist with introduction of new employees to appropriate stakeholders and complete the orientation processes.
    • Ensure all newly employed staff are suitably inducted and capacitated to effectively discharge their duties.
    • Work with DoH Facility and Sub-district teams and Head of Programmes (Right to Care) to develop joint training plans.
    • Provision of training, mentorship and supervision to project staff.
    • Oversee and manage weekly monitoring meetings.
    • Monitor and track programmatic work of during site visits to communities.

    Communication

    • Build and maintain working relationships with Department of Health at all levels and other stakeholders (including CBOs, CLOs, local authorities and community leaders) for effective implementation of pilot.
    • Facilitate communication between Programme Lead and delivery staff
    • Ensure proper representation of Right to Care at all relevant activities

    Data Management

    • Ensure data reviews are conducted bi-monthly
    • Ensure that the progress review sessions for each community take place weekly
    • Oversee all programme activities in the region are in accordance with the approved project work plans
    • Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan and make necessary adjustments consistent with plan objectives if need be.
    • Record and manage project issues and escalate where necessary
    • Liaise with the Head of Programmes for planning and reporting on project activities and progress
    • Monitor project progress and performance in line with the project results chain
    • Review and analyse M&E data and recommend adjustments to design in conjunction with data manager as needed.
    • Entry of data into programme and Provincial DoH databases
    • Ensure timelines on submission of progress reports are observed as required for the pilot
    • Participation in the documentation of case studies, key lessons learnt, success stories and best practice (monthly)
    • Consolidate project reports and analyse results

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Liaise with local and regional stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of project activities

    Administration and Financial Management

    Technical Specialist (Training and Development) (Gauteng)

    Description

    • Right to Care is currently recruiting for Technical Specialist (Training and Development) to ensure that there is adequate human resources capacity to meet required levels of service and for ensuring that management is correctly advised on how to match capacity and demand and ensure that the use of existing capacity is optimized. The Incumbent is accountable for the capacity management process and has the responsibility for the overall process results. 

    KEY PERFOMANCE AREA (KPAs)KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) 

    • Investigate, design, and implement training solutions to support SAHPRA’s effectiveness.
    • Support the organisation to improve regulatory performance through the implementation of targeted training programs in critical technical areas.
    • Understand and benchmark the current SAHPRA skills sets by conducting a skills audit utilising the WHO competency assessment tool.
    • Based on the outcomes of the audit, develop a capacity development strategy and implementation plan for the next three (3) years.
    • Facilitate and monitor the development of SAHPRA’s competency frameworks.
    • Identify partners who will support SAHPRA in funding and implementation of the Training Programs.
    • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the Training Programs against the SAHPRA Regulatory outputs.
    • Facilitate leadership development interventions.
    • Develop and monitor talent management policies, frameworks, processes and procedures.
    • IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE REGULATORY AUTHORITY
    • Undertake continuous improvement interventions such as establishment of quality management systems, development of SOPs for effective implementation of training programs.
    • Recommends and adheres to budget allocated for training and Training and Development projects.
    • Establish partnerships with well-established regulatory authorities through the signing of MOUs to formalize relations with an aim to facilitate training and where relevant collaborative review processes.
    • Working with a cohort of associates and collaborators that are experts in specific technical areas, create a pool of trainers and mentors.
    • Liase with the relevant SETA (HWSETA) in the development and submission of SAHPRA’s workplace skills plan (WSP) and related reporting with the assistance of the human resources team.
    • Monitors SAHPRA’s compliance with HWSETA and optimises opportunities for relevant benefits (e.g., Grants and available training)
    • Ensures the implementation of Training and Development and Skills Development initiatives to embed a learning culture and build SAHPRA’s Talent Pipeline.
    • Manages external service providers for training and development SLA’s in relation to service provision.
    • HR GOVERNANCE AND REPORTING
    • Ensure compliance with relevant HR legislation by researching and interpreting HR compliance requirements included in statutes, policy frameworks and guidelines.
    • Facilitating the development and monitoring the functioning of Employment Equity and Skills Development Committees, plans and reporting as legislated.
    • Management of HR biographic, financial and performance information to ensure it is readily available for HR Audits, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
    • Lead and assist on the processes of maintaining records and procedures for to SAHPRA’s training programs.
    • Development and review of HR Processes and related templates in alignment with approved HR policies

    Requirements

    Required Minimum Qualification and Experience

    • Matric certificate
    • Three-year bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management/ Human Resources Development/ Training and Development/ Management of Training/ Public Management/ Public Administration/ Industrial Psychology/ or an equivalent related qualification at NQF level 7 as recognized by SAQA.
    • SAGE P300 / VIP (or related versions) Payroll and HR system
    • Seven (7) years relevant and extensive work experience in Human Resource Management, especially in Training and Development and Performance Management and Development System) of which three (3) years must be at supervisory / management level.
    • A valid driver’s licence
    • Internet; AI; general Technologies awareness

    Desirable Qualifications and Experience

    • A relevant Postgraduate qualification
