    Global Recruiter - Johannesburg

    The Job

    You are responsible for recruiting new Tiko colleagues! This includes managing the entire hiring process, from understanding the needs of hiring managers and advertising jobs to shortlisting applicants, actively searching for candidates, and guiding candidates and hiring managers through each step.

    • Actively search for candidates across Africa, and Europe. 
    • Work closely with hiring managers in order to coordinate, and streamline the hiring process.
    • Pre-screen applicants, ensuring they’re a fit from both a skills, and culture perspective.
    • Write reports about candidates' experiences, providing your critical insights to hiring managers.
    • Respond to all applicants in a timely manner using our Applicant Tracking System (BambooHR).
    • You make sure Tiko is an attractive employer to the right candidates. You write and post job adverts on various platforms, including Glassdoor, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
    • You'll run, get involved with, and help out colleagues on other projects as needed.

    About you

    You enjoy interacting with people and possess a natural ability to put them at ease, such as when conducting pre-screens. You are an effective communicator, taking time to listen to applicants and understand the requirements from hiring managers. Having recruited on a global scale, you are confident in recruiting across multiple locations.

    • 6+ years of recruitment experience in an agency or in-house.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in tech recruitment.
    • Significant experience in recruiting in the African market.
    • Experience in active sourcing and Boolean search.
    • NGO Recruitment experience is a plus.
    • You follow through and have a keen eye for details. 
    • You are an excellent communicator and proficient writer.
    • You care about people and ensure no one is overlooked.

    HR Specialist (French Speaking)

    The Job

    As HR Specialist at Tiko, you make sure the day to day HR work functions smoothly and you support the organisation in a broad area:

    • Employee and manager support - you support and guide your designated teams when they have questions or concerns.
    • HR admin - ensuring all your designated teams have valid contracts, are registered for benefits etc. You make sure our admin is up to date and correct
    • Performance and disciplinary management - support managers with the execution of performance management processes, oversee and organise disciplinary processes  
    • Benefits - ensure the benefits in your market are of high quality and administered properly 
    • HR analytics - track how the organisation is performing and suggest improvements based on this information
    • Policy and project management - you assist in policy updating and management and in designated projects within your area. Projects can be very broad, from setting up HR in new countries to compensation and benefits or implementing new practices.

    About You

    You are hands on and a practical problem solver. You can connect to people from different backgrounds. You are a flexible, logical thinker with a clear ethical compass that helps you navigate the complex situations that can arise in HR. You have the ability to listen, understand, and can easily build trust with others. You can communicate your thoughts clearly in writing and can pay attention to detail. You are data driven and tech-savvy. 

    Requirements

    • You have a degree in HR or something closely related or you can show that you have the equivalent work experience
    • You have at least 3 years experience in a similar position in an international organisation, 7+ years general HR experience. 
    • You have experience working with labour regulations in at least two countries. Experience in a country with French labour laws or labour laws based on the French system is a big plus. 
    • You are fluent in French and English, written and spoken. 
    • Experience setting up HR in new organisations/countries is a plus
    • Proven experience in HR analytics is a plus

    Administration Officer

    The Job

    As an Administration Officer, you will make sure that the local office runs smoothly by providing excellent support to your colleagues. You will also be responsible for: 

    • Local procurement; finding ways to improve these processes and help them become cost-efficient.
    • Ensuring that the Johannesburg office and its employees have the supplies they need. You are the contact person for the building and other practical issues. 
    • You make sure the online and offline records are in order and the administrative work is done timely and correctly.
    • Supporting the local team with logistical and organizational matters such as travel arrangements, providing and distributing of materials, organizing local events, and other assigned duties
    • Ensuring that the data and information you process is done according to regulations surrounding information and data security.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in procurement, administration, or operations support
    • You are organized and have an eye for detail

    Ecosystem Coordinator

    The Job

    The Ecosystem Coordinator will work closely with all actors across Tiko Ecosystems to tackle any first line non-technical questions that they may have. You and your team will also visit ecosystems across the country to do regular in-person check ups with actors.
    You'll also be responsible for:

    • Responding to questions asked by actors across ecosystems via phone, internet and other sources. You'll solve any issues within your capabilities and escalate any other issues to the right internal team. 
    • Ensuring that branding has been done correctly at each actor, and providing support where you identify compliance issues.
    • Coordinating activities with other field teams to ensure that work runs smoothly and effectively. 
    • Identifying, preventing and responding to, and mitigating any kind of fraud in any ecosystem that you work in. This will involve flagging and reporting any suspicious activity or breaches of our code of conduct and standard operating procedures. 
    • Mapping and setting up new Tiko ecosystems and finding and contracting all new actors 

    About you

    You are tech-savvy and proficient in mobile, messaging and use of applications. You have brilliant interpersonal skills and are able to work well in a team. You're a problem solver, who has the ability to innovate and improve the way that work is done. 

    Requirements

    • Based in Tshwane District, South Africa
    • A degree or relevant working experience in a similar field.
    • Experience in Mental Health, HIV, Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) programming, whether in clinical or program settings.
    • 2-3 years of working experience in a similar area.
    • Salesforce experience is a plus
    • You are approachable and work well in a team.
