    Human Resources Adminstrator

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Management of clocking system against uncommunicated and unaccounted absence
    • Daily receiving and recording of overtime and acting allowance claim forms, verifying compliance against submitted pre-authorization forms
    • Management of the HR Movement Inbox.
    • Flag, challenge and report any deviations against site procedure.
    • Follow-up on corrected claim forms.
    • Verify overtime hours on time sheets per department to compile weekly dashboard.
    • Compile weekly reports on excessive overtime.
    • Facilitate Fixed Term Contract processes and maintain employee role profiles.
    • Daily receiving and recording of leave forms, verifying accuracy of completed forms against compliance.
    • Verify leave forms against leave captured on SAP.
    • Act as backup for leave capturing processes.
    • Support with tracking and filing Role Profiles on employee files
    • Support with scheduling training and tracking completion of Employee Self-Service (ESS).
    • Support management with processing of short-time.
    • Process all time and attendance entries on BesTime to drive weekly payroll processing.

    Experience:

    • At least 3 years’ HR administration experience gained in a unionized environment within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry
    • Solid understanding of the payroll process
    • Experience in SAP

    Qualifications

    • A completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources (National Diploma or a Bachelors' degree)

    Additional Requirements

    • Knowledge of BesTime or any other time and attendance systems would be highly advantageous
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)

    Electrical Foreman

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Job cards

    • Ensure that artisans execute work according to Planned Maintenance Job cards.
    • Monitor and manage the flow of Job cards from being issued until handed back to the Planning office at the end of the week.

    Spares

    • Ensure availability of spares to enable artisans to execute tasks.

    Overtime

    • Obtain authorization for all overtime worked or to be worked.
    • Monitor each artisan’s overtime to ensure that hours do not exceed allowable limit (40hrs per month, or 10hrs per week).

    Timesheets

    • All timesheets/clocking data to be checked and verify that overtime was authorized, and job card numbers are available.
    • Ensure that all Timesheets and Travel claims are signed, approved and submitted on time.

    Stand-in

    • Availability to stand in for other Foremen in case of Emergency, Leave, Sick leave etc.

    General

    • Conduct morning meetings to discuss work planned for the day, and to follow-up on previous day, as well as priority actions.
    • Do random inspections in artisans’ responsibility areas.
    • Give first line support to the artisans in his team regarding technical issues.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • Experienced in LV switching and reticulation (Min 5 years)
    • Experienced in MV switching and reticulation (Min 5 years)
    • Experienced in Diesel generators (Min 5 years)
    • Experienced in a FMCG environment in a supervisory position (Min 2 years)
    • Experience with Coal fired Boilers will be advantageous

    Qualifications:

    • Red seal qualification as electrician (Min 10 years)
    • Registered as Master electrician, or at least eligible to register as Master electrician

    Additional Requirements:

    • Knowledge and experience on Computerised Maintenance Management System (i.e. SAP, Shopware or similar).
    • Extensive knowledge and experience of equipment is required.
    • Sound knowledge and understanding of OHS Act legal compliance and statutory inspections.
    • Ability to lead and supervisor contractors and suppliers.
    • Must be prepared to work overtime, be on call outs and on stand-by duty.
    • Must have your own reliable transport.
