ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                                    

Body and Paint business management in distributors                                                                                                                

• Review and Guide BP business KPIs and activities                                                                                                                
• Consultation for distributor BP managers towards Customer Satisfaction                                  
• Body and Paint operation improvement - Floor planning, Job flow, estimation process, etc            
• Support to establish good relationship with customer and insurance companies in the market.               
• Support to address customer issue or complaints to achieve timely and appropriate resolution

This position is to report to Chief Representative Officer in the office with a dotted reporting line to Head of Africa, IFD, ESFD. 

• Work with Europe Structured Finance Department (origination team in London and control office of Non- Japanese clients) and other product departments:
• To assist with the administration of the organisation and to help manage business from existing / target new Sub-Saharan Africa clients, with an understanding of Credit / risk appetite, product capabilities and business focus.
•  - To support execution and monitoring of the transactions originated by assisting in the credit application process and country/credit monitoring function through obtaining and sharing local Information with relevant departments.
• - To assist Johannesburg Representative Office and Europe Structured Finance Department in achieving their quantitative and qualitative targets.
• - To be involved in and support the development of ancillary & other related business opportunities.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 

• - Work with Europe Structured Finance Department (origination team in London and control office of Non Japanese clients): 
• -To assist in the enhancement of the Bank’s profile, particularly in the Sub-Sahara African market.
• To assist with the professional management of client relationships through the local
• contacts in collaboration with Europe Structured Finance Department.
• To support implementing Europe Structured Finance Department regional business strategy and to originate profitable transactions, within the designated area in full compliance of Mizuho policies & procedures and to originate transactions within the designated sectors, in accordance with the Bank’s overall business strategy. ----To support Europe Structured Finance Department execution of the transactions externally and internally in line with the Bank’s policies and guidance, including but not limited to the co-ordination of the Credit Application process, and also overseeing and checking documentation requirements, if needed from the local regulation perspective.
• To help with the identification of new clients and business opportunities from SubSaharan African corporates.
• To perform country/credit monitoring function through obtaining, analysing and sharing local information.
• -To support Europe Structured Finance Department to manage the banks existing Sub-Sahara portfolio.
• To assist with cross-market and cross-sell ancillary products from other areas of the Bank.

Compliance Responsibilities:

• Credit risk: a high standard of assesment of credit risk is required together wit an ability to assist in the structuring and documentation of transactions to mitigate risk to an appropriate level.
• Geo political risk: a high standard of assessment of geo political risk is required to monitor our portfolio and consider business strategy. 
• Processing Risk: a high standard of awareness is required in respect of the processing of unauthorised transactions.
• Reputation Risk: a high standard of awareness and conduct is required in dealing with clients and third parties (both external and internal)

Experience

Essential

• Proven customer relationship skills.
• Strong knowledge of designated markets, including the sovereign, corporate & FI clients, products and transactions.
• Technical skills/knowledge: 

Knowledge of debt markets
