    Manager Retail Operations - Workforce Optimization - EM

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    The role is responsible for the optimization of Retail workforce, PEX, and Retail Store KPIs across Emerging Markets, ensuring efficient processes are in place to maximize business performance across Own Retail and supporting our franchise business partners with appropriate guidance and sharing best practices. Act as a support lead for the Senior Manager DTC Excellence EM, when required.

    This role will also lead and support the implementation of Back-of-House (BOH) operational efficiencies across Emerging Markets and ensure all adidas Operations standards are implemented and enhanced when the opportunity arises.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Review and consult EM Retail Teams store payroll budgeting, employee scheduling, and forecasting tools/processes to improve operational efficiency and employee productivity.
    • Lead the implementation of Workforce Optimization programs to drive efficiencies in staff scheduling and payroll management.
    • Consult the business on store payroll expenses by reviewing the annual budget and working with business partners to maximize productivity across retail.
    • Oversee the proper and consistent use of store scheduling tools to ensure the right person is in the right place at the right time.
    • Champion the goals of operational programs and services and share suitable data and updates with the business leadership.
    • Facilitate training and coaching for stakeholders/users and set goals for the team in line with business strategy.
    • Establish consistent communication avenues for programs to support understanding and adoption business-wide.
    • Identify and develop a set of performance measurements with the team based on strategic goals to measure the continued adoption of processes and programs.
    • Lead vendor management and seek new opportunities for innovation to better the business.
    • Communicate regularly with business leaders to identify challenges, successes, and future opportunities.  
    • Define the foundations and lead the implementation of BOH efficiency/excellence programs in retail stores and support our franchise business when necessary.
    • Oversee the implementation of operational processes and tools for stores including, but not limited to inventory management, stock accuracy, stock takes, Cycle counts, and other BOH operations (e.g., receiving deliveries, stockroom standards, store opening processes, replenishment, etc.)
    • Align all relevant stakeholders on the standards of BOH.
    • Lead the implementation of RFID, Bins, and future digital enhancement and ensure consistent executions across EM Retail stores. 
    • Monitor business process performance to drive improvement and maximize profitability.
    • Create best practices and address local challenges with cluster leads to enhance process improvements.

    Manager Digital Operations - EM

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    This role is responsible for the development and implementation of Digital Operations across Emerging Markets in Omni-channel Services, Point-of-Sale Systems, and Back-end Retail Operations. 

    In this role, you will work closely with EM Cluster teams, Retail Stores, EM Hub, and global functions, including (but not limited to) IT, Tech Delivery Hubs, Retail Back-Office, Merchandising, and Supply Chain, to drive enablement and operationalization of digital operations and Omni tools, also analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities and drive improvements

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Ownership and E2E management of roll-outs related to Omni-channel and Retail services, Point-of-Sale systems, Back-Office and Head-Office
    • Launching, managing, and driving Omni-services across EM, including Ship from store, Endless Aisle, Click and Collect, Fast delivery, and Express delivery, among others.

    Senior Manager Demand Planning TR4M FPS EM

    Purpose and Relevance for the organization:

    Emerging Markets is a market consisting of 5 clusters (MENA, SA, Turkey, India and Israel)

    Your key task as Senior Manager Demand Planning TR4M FPS EM, is to define the operational Demand Planning process and setup for EM by cluster, in line FPS (future planning solution) implementation.

    Initially, act as EM DP lead during the implementation of FPS in South Africa.

    As EM SPOC, for the Demand Planning workstream, oversee the assessment phases, E2E process, gap analysis, change management, training and testing with people on the ground prior to go-live. In addition, along with global and the EM Demand planning head, agree the needs required to drive a viable demand planning solution in SA.

    As the project moves on to the other clusters, your role will be critical to understand the implications and requirements for each, leveraging knowledge, benchmarking the status quo, conducting gap analysis vs future way of working. Considering the EM cluster set up and complexities, provide the proposal for the most effective and efficient demand planning organisation for each. With TRANS4M FPS, travel within EM would be expected during critical project stages.

    Specialist Media Activation

    Primary:

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    • The Digital Wholesale Solutions team develops and implements best-in-class and future-oriented tools, processes, policies and guidance to enable the Clusters to achieve operational excellence and commercial success.     • Represent the market as a SPOC for Global Functions and establish transparent communication with the Clusters or countries in regard to enhancements, issues and projects
    • Collect, review and prioritize market demand for Digital Wholesale solutions in order to drive continuous improvements and add value to our customers and users. Identify capabilities to be implemented through collaboration with Global Sales, Global Digital Sales Solution and Global IT teams to drive digital transformation in Wholesale
    • Support User acceptance tests for new features and improvements and take final decisions for changes and enhancements of the tools working with Market leads, sales directors, sales coordination and IT
    • Contribute to shaping the overarching Digital Strategy in Wholesale together with Global Digital Sales Solutions and Global Sales Teams, evolving and planning the core levers to achieve brand and sales objectives
    • Ensure season readiness of the sell-in tools in the market in close collaboration with the marketing, IT and Sales functions (content, master data, sales calendar, assortments, packages)
    • Develop an annual digital activation and adoption plan and coordinate the process with local and global functions (Sales, Marketing and Cluster managers) to increase customer engagement and impact top-line

    • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
    • Creative, open-minded individual
    • Flexible team player able to work in both a group and individual atmosphere
    • Advanced analytical, planning and organizational abilities
    • Broad and deep functional skills (e.g. Customer Service, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, Sales)
    • Extensive knowledge of the adidas Group business along with significant industry experience
    • Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are an advantage
    • Project Management Experience
    • SAP AFS and Salesforce products knowledge is advantage

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5- 6 years within a commercially driven organisation,
    • preferably with 3-4 years of sales experience (KAM or Field) within adidas or comparable (Sales Coordination/Sales Development)
    • Cross-functional experience ideally with Customer Service/ Operations/ IT/ Sales/ Finance
