WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
We are actively building out our Data Science capabilities and are looking for somebody that is incredibly smart, ferociously hard-working, naturally collaborative and wonderfully curious to join us as a Lead Data Scientist.

You’d start out working with our Leadership team understanding our Clients and Company vision. Then, you’d dive in and start working with our Operations team to configure Reporting Dashboards using Data Visualization Software. You will also need to be familiar with SQL and Python. The role will entail learning new tools, languages, and applications which requires a curious mind and an ability to stay self-motivated.

You are responsible for the day-to-day management of your team. You will serve as a point of escalation for issues outside the authority of a team member, as well as coordinate with clients from time to time. You will also be working with the Service Delivery Manager and the People Team to identify growth and development opportunities for the team members.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Learn how to build, edit and configure dashboards in Data Visualization Software
• Report out on process proficiencies and deficiencies
• Collect data by using a scripting language such as SQL
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends in complex data sets to drive business decisions
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain data visualizations
• Present findings effectively to clients, team members and management
• Experience in working on scalable cloud-based data science environments such as Google Cloud Platform
• Leverage proficiency of existing languages and tools required for data analysis including but not limited to: Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau, R and Python
• Assist in any special projects as needed

People Development

• Identify growth and development opportunities for team members to enable career progression and self-development
• Monitor and assess team members’ performance, and provide timely feedback through regular coaching through the Employee Discussion Log and Quarterly Performance Appraisals
• Helps in culture building particularly in embracing our Core Values and exemplifying what a Boldr leader should be

Team Management

• Monitor attendance and people concerns of all team members, coordinating closely with the HR Team for disciplinary cases
• Ensure that team members are properly trained and working consistently to meet client needs
• Ensure that the team meets company and client-specific KPI targets through product/service training

Internal Coordination

• Work with the People Team to make recommendations for their team member’s career advancement based on their personal aspirations and learning needs
• Relay consistent issues to Service Delivery Manager in a timely and efficient manner

External Communications

• Be familiar with the client’s key contacts, unique requirements, and operating processes
• Demonstrate mastery on the company and client’s offerings (i.e. its product and services)
• Understand, investigate, and solve any complex client requests or complaints
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and scaling growth, in coordination with the Service Delivery Manager

Requirements

YOU HAVE…

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• Previous experience building Dashboards is a plus
• Three years of supervisory experience in a related field
• Intermediate knowledge of cloud-based applications (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs) and MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An ability to understand and communicate complex ideas to clients
• Aptitude to quickly learn and navigate new technology, systems, and applications
• Ability to accept feedback gracefully and with an open mind
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to customers with diverse backgrounds

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
The Shift Lead provides excellent service based on standard policies and client-specific procedures. You must be eager to meet and exceed client expectations and consistently respond to client requests in a timely manner. Your mission is to act as the Point-of-Contact for your team. You will take the time to communicate statuses/check-ins to our internal management team and clients.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• As a Shift Lead, you are responsible for executing processes as defined by the client and/or management. You will need to efficiently manage a large amount of information that is often sensitive or confidential. The role will require keen attention to detail while maintaining productivity at defined proficiency levels. You will be working with different tools and databases to gather and store data. You are expected to advise on the most efficient ways to gather and store information. You will prioritize and batch information for data entry and complete information analysis for procedures and reports. You will be responsible for guiding Advisors and Associates.
• Understand, articulate, and implement best practices related to your area of expertise
• Provide guidance to team members to foster growth and development, best practices, and optimal morale.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in learning about the assigned client, including key contacts, unique requirements and operating processes
• Facilitate training and/or refresher sessions in your area of expertise when necessary.
• Cascade updates on processes when prescribed from the Team Captain and/or client and make sure that the team understands it correctly
• Communicate any process failure, clarification, or question to Team Captain in a timely manner
• Make sure that all required deliveries are equally divided and completed correctly to maintain 99.9% Quality
• Help motivate the team to meet the daily targets
• Prepare a start of shift and/or an end of shift report if necessary and send it out via email
• Highlight and report any issues within the team: performance, attendance, energy / motivation
• Proactively include suggestions on how operations management can help with issues and concerns
• Initiate reviews of materials to ensure proper and timely execution of processes

Requirements
YOU HAVE…

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field you’re passionate about!
• 1 year leadership experience
• Basic knowledge of in cloud-based applications such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs and MS Office applications
