    Development Coach

     

    • The Development Coach (DC) serves the dual role of line manager and coach to the Financial Advisers, with the primary focus being on the coach role (60/40). This role also contributes to the overall management/leadership of the geographical area by serving as a member of the MANCO.

    • Must have passed RE 5 level 1,
    • Previous experience as a Sales Manager is preferable.
    • Be accredited on all products that PFA distributes as well as accreditation on other optional products, including COB & CPD
    • Preferably 24 month’s service as a Financial Advisor.
    • Have strong administrative capabilities.
    • Should be comfortable in applying the sales process.
    • Should be able to apply the six step financial process.

    Senior Security Specialist : SOC

    Job Description

    The Security Operations Centre (SOC) Lead will plan, direct and control the SOC functions and operations. Ensure the monitoring and analysis of incidents to protect People, Technology and Process addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation. Direct the Cyber Intelligence capability to identify potential threats delivering strategic reports and strategies to minimize the impact of the threat.

    • Support implementation of the SOC strategy.
    • Leading and managing the Security Operations and team of security operational staff members
    • Primarily responsible for directing security event monitoring, management and response and cyber intelligence
    • Ensuring incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring
    • Ensuring compliance to policy, process, and procedure adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives
    • Revising and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, Review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs
    • Responsible for overall use of resources and initiation of corrective action where required for Security Operations Center
    • Ensuring daily management, administration & maintenance of security devices to achieve operational effectiveness
    • Ensuring threat management, threat modeling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring
    • Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for SOC operations and presentation to Sr. Mgmt.

    Job Requirements : Skills ,Experience and Qualifications

    • IT related tertiary qualification
    • Must have at least 5 yrs experience working within Security Operations Center AND using SIEM technologies
    • CISSP, CASP, CCSP, SSCP, SANS GIAC:GMON GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, GREM
    • Must have deep technical understanding of core current cybersecurity technologies as well as emerging capabilities. Hands-on cybersecurity experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization including prior experience performing large-scale incident response.
    • Must have demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of cybersecurity threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).Familiarity or experience in Intelligence Driven Defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, and/or MITRE ATT&CK framework.
    • Must be familiar with Cloud concepts and experience performing monitoring and responding to threats in Cloud environments.

    Senior Tester

    Job Description

    The Senior Tester is responsible for the end to end testing activities for Product & Remuneration initiatives sanctioned by the OM Personal Finance on the SAP, Workday and Oracle platforms as it relates to the following Distribution Channels:

    • Personal Financial Advice (PFA) S.A. & Namibia
    • Broker Distribution (BD) S.A. & Namibia
    • Agency Franchise Distribution (AFD) S.A.
    • Direct Financial Advice (DFA) S.A.

    Responsibilities:

    • Remuneration and Commission Existing Model Knowledge
    • Ability to understand existing Remuneration and Commission Models and articulate it when necessary.

    Requirements Review

    • Review and analyse Product & Remuneration Business Requirements Specifications against existing Remuneration and Commission Models to ensure all considerations have been applied in the BRS.
    • Review and analyse Change Requests against existing Remuneration and Commission Models to ensure all considerations have been applied in the BRS.
    • Identify & provide High Level & Detailed Acceptance Criteria per User Story.

    Testing Preparation

    • Create Test Plan (UAT, Regression Testing and Production Testing) and provide input to Test Strategy
    • Validate, identify & raise design & functionality issues at Demonstration & Solution Overview sessions
    • Review, analyse and assess system testing output artifacts for testability
    • Identify and design test scenarios, test cases and test data with expected results.

    Execute Testing

    • Conduct the relevant testing at key points within the delivery
    • User Acceptance Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • Production Testing
    • Execute Testing in a relevant environment (Testing/Production) and document actual results.
    • Compare actual with expected results and identify Defects.
    • Log Defects.
    • Re-test fixes and update Defect Log
    • Sign off Testing Stage (subject to successfully meeting sign off criteria)

    Documentation

    • Create or update relevant documentation i.e. Training material, Remuneration Booklets, Practice Notes, Commission Tables, Learner Guides, Process Documents, etc.
    • Provide training so that impacted BAU Teams are informed of change and can provide BAU support in relation to the change.

    Project Collaboration

    • Act in the capacity of UAT Tester on various Remuneration initiatives providing specialist Remuneration knowledge to the Project Team and generate agreed upon documentation and Testing Activities within the project.
    • Align with UAT Manager to validate Remuneration Model knowledge and to include them in the relevant project discussions when required.
    • Act as Lead UAT Tester when multiple UAT Testers are assigned to one project coordinating Testing activities across the project test team.
    • Attend and provide input at agreed Project ceremonies.

    Maximise business effectiveness through a culture of Innovation & Continuous Improvement.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Grade 12 Required
    • Software Testing Certification Required
    • 1 – 2 years experience working as a Software Tester in a Financial Services Environment Required
    • 3 year Tertiary Qualification preferable
    • 3 - 5 years experience as a Software Tester within an SDLC preferable
    • 1 – 2 years experience using Testing Tools
    • Exposure to Financial Systems i.e. SAP, Oracle HRMS
    • Exposure to Test Automation
    • Agile Experience Advantageous

    The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
