What you'll do on a typical day:

• Retain Customers and secure relationships with key decision-makers to achieve key supplier/business partner status:  Acquire-Extend-Retain.
• Analyse geographical sector within own region ito Clients' projects and acquire new Clients by demonstrating knowledge of PERI products, and their use within the rules and regulations concerning PERI products.
• Acquire and track detailed pipeline of all available projects within region of operation and responsibility to maximise growth potential of all opportunities within region.
• To close deals effectively having communicated payment terms clearly to Customers and evaluating customers credit worthiness, with assistance of own Manager and finance department where necessary.
• To meet and exceed financial targets by managing all financial, technical, legal, commercial, and logistical problems with Clients.
• Accurately forecast rental and sales figures and update CRM system daily which Company bases its business decisions and forecasts on.
• Measure profitability by Customer and effectively plan time allocated to each Customer accordingly.
• Analyse drawings and develop preliminary concepts for formwork and shoring solutions using PERI products and discuss these concepts with the own Manager and internal Design teams for the development of drawings and material lists for the projects to provide Customers with the most cost-effective formwork solutions.
• Create Quotes 
• Manage own projects effectively from Clients' requests, to Order, to return of material if rental stock, to payment of Invoices.
• Takes responsibility to strip sites when non-payment issues are unable to be resolved providing accurate information to and working closely with Operations department.
• Continually improves own industry, product and competitor knowledge.
• Accurately populate CRM on regular basis with new projects.

What you'll need to be successful:

Requirements

• Min 2 years’ experience as a Technical Sales Consultant

Qualifications

• Marketing / Sales qualification will be an advantage
• Matric Certificate

Skills & Attributes

• Good commercial understanding
• Strong ability to analyse drawings and develop preliminary concepts    for formwork and solutions using PERI products in liaison with internal technical team and customers
• Proven experience with regard to quotations and pricing
• Excellent product knowledge and understanding of formwork solutions
• Excellent presentation skills, and ability to negotiate and build relationships with key account customers
• On-site / construction experience (specifically with concrete and formwork knowledge)
• MS Office & Excel proficient
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Responsibilities for supervision activities
• Participation in technical meetings with clients
• Supervise/train customers in safe and efficient assembly and application of PERI systems.
• Check erected formwork & scaffolding and comment on design conformity using site observation documents.
• Identify and liaise with site management to report misuse and damages of PERI material (rental and sale).
• Gather required information and communicate with all relevant employees of PERI South Africa.
• Support verification of customer complaints and assist Order Management to execute appropriate customer service measures.
• Responsibilities for project management activities (when applicable)
• Liaise with all internal stakeholders to effectively execute operational solution and those agreed processes are followed.
• Attend client and supplier meetings to support trouble shooting and provide progress updates.
• Reporting of project delivery status to operations admin.
• Escalate performance issues or risks to senior management for adequate mitigation.
• Drive business excellence through continuous improvement reporting i.e.

What you'll need to be successful:
Qualification and experience required

•   Minimum 5 years of formwork experience or 6 years’ experience as a carpenter, mason or similar on site.
•   Construction site experience is crucial.
•   Tertiary qualification in civil or mechanical engineering will be advantageous.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Compilation of reports for various departments on a monthly basis to assist with strategic decision-making. Includes management accounts, turnover reports, customer activity reports
• Provide feedback on line items queried by the Financial Manager (FM) or -Director (FD)
• Fixed asset management including maintenance of the fixed asset register, related accounting entries and final approval of requests for new investments
• Supporting Regional Managers with review of Management accounts whilst providing input on key figures
• Developing of new reports and templates 
• Key link between Finance and Payroll (providing information, updating data bases, updating and review of reconciliations)
• Assisting with the interim- and year-end audits
• Reviewing and authorising payments (Cash on Delivery and Vendor)
• Preparing and / or reviewing of the monthly VAT calculation
• Assist with the quarterly preparation of forecast and yearly branch budgets
• Supporting the Financial Manager (FM) or -Director (FD) with ad-hoc tasks and projects
• Responsible to improve own knowledge and skills, understanding of the business, and staying up to date on CA-related topics.

What you'll need to be successful:
Qualification and experience required

•  Registered CA (preferable), SAIPA or similar
•  Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level)
•  MS Office Suite (Intermediate)
•  SAP experience desirable
•  Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
•  Completed articles
