About the job

The successful candidate would be responsible for:

• Develop and implement compliance strategies and policies
• Be up-to-date with ISO Standards that include: ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO45001 and ISO14001
• Support and maintain positive relationships with any relevant regulatory bodies
• Management and testing of business continuity plans
• Evaluate the efficiency of controls of business and improve them continuously thorough internal audits
• FCA compliance with all reporting and structural requirements
• Ensure that the senior management team is always aware of key risks
• Lead the development of the quality improvement and performance strategy
• Create and support the overall vision, strategy and execution plan for compliance and continuous improvement
• Identifying opportunities for strategic improvement
• Communicate performance and progress to our leadership team
• Applying evolving best practises, develop continuous improvement plans and make appropriate and cost-effective recommendations to improve operational delivery

Education:

Relevant qualification

Responsibilities:

• Automating existing reporting systems, whether financial or non-financial, using tools like Excel Power Query
• Prepare detailed margin analysis reports, including gross margin, net margin, and contribution margin
• Identify trends and variances, and provide explanations for significant fluctuations.
• Prepare comprehensive management accounts for each business unit/export country/manufacturing process.
• Analyse financial performance, including revenue, cost of sales, and operating expenses.
• Prepare detailed production cost reports, including standard costs, actual costs, and variances.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including ratio analysis, trend analysis, and benchmarking.

Qualification and Experience

• Accounting Degree (BCom or BAcc)
• Experience with MS Excel Power Query preferred
• Experience with ERP systems
