    EPWP Administrator, Head Office Bridgetown

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with updating and consolidation of vehicles & ensure condition assessments are regularly performed
    • Facilitates vehicle allocations for Head Office and update the Landscape one as they come
    • Assist in Consolidation for capturing of odometer readings and reconcile invoices for payment
    • Assist with verification of Assets when requested
    • Assist in capturing the losses and follow up with outstanding documents and requests
    • Assist with updating and consolidation of vehicles & ensure condition assessments are regularly performed
    • Perform other administration duties as required by the assigned Transport Officer.
    • Facilitates vehicle allocations for Head Office and update the Landscape list as they come
    • Assist in monitoring of reporting and submission of necessary information and documents.

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • At least a Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Positive mindset and a can-do attitude
    • Flexible in relation to changing priorities and deadlines
    • Calm under pressure
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (E-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Sound administrative, financial and communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal; writing; and presentation skills.
    • Ability to speak two of the Western Cape official languages.
    • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn & travel.
    • Possession of a valid code 8 driver’s license

    EPWP Receptionist/Admin Assistant, Head Office

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Customer Service

    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
    • Provide and promote an efficient and friendly customer service.
    • Welcoming on-site guests, determine nature of business, and announce guest to appropriate personnel.
    • Assisting with walk in clients
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
    • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.

     Admin and Clerical Support

    • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
    • Manage Head Office boardrooms and scheduling
    • Update calendars and schedule meetings as required
    • Manage the reception area and ensuring it is neat and tidy
    • Arrange travel and accommodation as required
    • Records/Registry assistance as required
    • Assist Administration of infrastructure, assets and inventory
    • Assist with procurement administration and handling of enquiries

    Switchboard / Telephone duties

    • Managing the main switchboard, answering, and transferring of telephone calls
    • Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • Grade 12
    • No criminal record
    • Ability to write and communicate in any two of the Western Cape official languages
    • At least 1 year Receptionist/ Front Office experience/Customer Service experience

    Learning Officer (x2), Head Office Bridgetown

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with procurement duties for the Learning & Awareness Component
    • Assist with the development of projects, programmes and resources for education, awareness and capacity building programmes
    • Assist with the planning, coordination and facilitation of events in and for the entity (biodiversity calendar days, Cubs Club event, campaigns etc.)
    • Contribute to planning and coordinate meetings/forums and training events
    • Support the implementation of assessments including data capture and coordination
    • Effect the administration of the learning and awareness component (transportation, accommodation, assets – resources, photographs etc.)
    • Maintain effective communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders (act as a point of contact and manage the components generic email account)

     REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree or Diploma in Public Relations Management, Communications, Education, Administration or Nature Conservation
    • Ability to write and communicate in English and at least one of the other two of the Western Cape official languages (Afrikaans or isiXhosa)
    • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
    • Computer literacy with a solid knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and platforms such as MS Teams
    • Possession of a valid South African ID document and drivers' license, including proven recent driving experience (at least one year driving daily, no longer than 3 months ago)
    • Strong administrative, organizing and coordination skills
    • At least 1 years’ experience in the field of communication, stakeholder engagement, administration or education

    • Assist with the timeous submission of reports to both internal and external stakeholders
