    Country Approval Manager

    Job Description

    An opportunity exists at Bosch for a Country Approval Manager in the Automotive Aftermarket (AA) division.  The purpose of the position is to ensure legal compliance, research and product approval releases in Africa for the AA division.

    It is important to note that this is only a 3 month Fixed-Term Contract.

     

    Principle accountabilities can include but are not limited to;

    • Ensure the products and services that Automotive Aftermarket Africa (AA-AF) and Automotive Aftermarket Service Solutions (AA-AS) divisions sell in this region comply with all the norms, regulations and laws in the African market.

    • Do research to generally determine if a law, norm or standard applies to a specific product. He/she will be responsible for communicating the legal standards to the Automotive product managers, ensuring all regulatory laws are understood and effectively communicated within the business.

    • Responsible for Brand protection.  Brand protection encompasses the protection of the intellectual property owned by Robert Bosch. Intellectual property can have various forms: Trade Marks, Copyrights, Patents and so on. Violations can come in many forms as well. Some violations are: Counterfeit Products, Unauthorised Use of Copyright / Trade Marks, Trade Dress, Bait and Switch and False Marketing.

    • The successful candidate will need to enforce the legal procedures to ensure Robert Bosch intellectual property is constantly monitored, while infringements are documented and communicated to the relevant authorities.

    Experience required;

    • Minimum 5 years+ working experience in a similar role in legal or compliance in the Automotive Aftermarket industry.

    • 5 years+ working experience in brand protection, research and product approval releases in Africa

    • 3 years+ experience in a leadership role

    • Strong communication skills and fluency in English (Speak, read and write)

    • Computer literate with advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    Personal characteristics;

    • Analytical and problem solving abilities

    • Self-motivated

    • Assertiveness

    Qualifications

    Matric / Grade 12 and a Degree in Legal studies or related field

    Workshop Concept Manager

    Job Description

    Bosch is looking to employ a Workshop Concept Manager in their Automotive Aftermarket division.

    The role reports directly to the Head of Workshop Concepts Africa.

    The purpose would include but are not limited to;

    • Develop and lead concept strategy

    • Workshop concepts development

    • National deal partners management and development

    • Customer care enquires

    • Formulate and implement growth strategies

    Principle accountabilities;

    • Handling general customer queries

    • Develop and lead concept strategy, by establishing mid and long term business plan

    • Analyse competitors’ activities and assess opportunities for business development

    • National deal partners development and expansion

    • Set-up, lead and deploy strategic cooperation with key partners

    • Formulate and implement specific strategy in defined focused countries in alignment with the regional sales organization, workshop concepts & service department and relevant supporting departments

    • Organize, lead, & participate in regular and Ad Hoc meetings

    Experience Required;

    • Minimum 7 years working experience in a similar role developing and leading concept strategies in the Automotive Aftermarket industry

    • Minimum 7 years experience in a customer facing role and the building of sustainable relationships with various stakeholders

    • Strong communication skills and fluency in English (Speak, read and write)

    • Computer literate with advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    • Valid Driver's License is mandatory

    Qualifications
