    Assistant Manager- Infrastructure - Northern Cape

    Audit Process

    Planning

    • Advise audit teams on technical matters related to the infrastructure sector
    • Assist audit teams in identifying audit risks for the specific audit engagement in the built environment
    • Assist the manager in resource planning for selected audits in the built environment/ infrastructure field
    • Liaise with the manager and assist in compiling a budget for the audit and communicate this to audit team for selected audits in the infrastructure field

    Qualifications

    Experience

    Strategic Function

    Technical Specialist : Quality Reviewer

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Product Management: Pro Active reviews and audit quality support

    • Keep abreast of changes in audit Quality Management (QM) related audit standards and ensure AGSA compliance at audit engagement level.
    • Assist in development and implementation of audit Quality Support policies and procedures in the operations of the AGSA and ensure compliance with the relevant audit standards.
    • Co-ordinate and implement pro-active reviews that actively respond to audit quality risks and ensure quality on AGSA audits before issuance of audit reports. This can be done on a number of AGSA high profile and significant risk engagements
    • Participate in any other pro-active strategic initiatives to drive the improvement in audit quality before the issuance of audit reports in terms of the AGSA strategy.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    Senior Manager - Office of CFO

    Strategic function:

    • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the finance strategy and funding model to support the CFO and AGSA's strategic objectives.
    • Serves as a strategic advisor to the CFO, understanding challenges and provides recommendations.
    • Manages all strategic initiatives and deliverables of the CFO office.
    • Provides decision-support to the CFO and advises where applicable on strategic matters relating to the DAG organisational strategic commitments.

    Junior Specialist: SCCM and Vulnerability Engineer

    Strategic Function

    • Support the implementation of the business unit balance scorecard projects and initiatives.

    • Perform and/or manage other projects, tasks and assignments not stipulated on the Job description as and when required.

    Formal Education

    • This position requires a minimum qualification of a National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Information Technology, Computer science OR  related.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience and working knowledge of patch management processes and deploying patches, specifically Microsoft patch and updated deployments on User End Points.
    • Understanding the use of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and how to utilize the SCCM solution to ensure a health patched Microsoft environment is required.
    • Experience in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities across different platforms.
    • To focus more on vulnerability management, patching, penetration testing, and compliance
