    Constituency Coordinator: Stellenbosch – Western Cape West

    Job Description
    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Logistically supporting Party public representatives in their efforts to grow and keep DA support, advance the DA brand, properly run DA political structure and meet statutory obligations

    Job Requirements
    Minimum requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent 
    • Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
    • Relevant experience which may include the following roles: field worker, community liaison, project coordinator, operations coordinator, field-related sales, field-related customer service or election/campaign-related role
    • Project management experience
    • Financial management experience
    • Proficiency in at least one official language, in addition to English
    • Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for daily business related use
    • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office suite
    • Knowledge of, and/or residence in, the constituency (advantageous)

    • Establish and maintain effective relationships within the Party

    Caucus Support Assistant - Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature (Fixed Term)

    • Coordinating planned and regular outreach campaigns in consultation with the MPL
    • Assisting with setting up of outreach meetings and ensuring that agendas are prepared for the MPL
    • Assisting the MPL with diarising a programme of events and regularly updating a grid of outreach events
    • Assisting the MPL with the administration of outreach projects
    • Assisting the MPL to ensure that requisitions for outreach projects are processed through the Caucus Finance Support Officer

    Provincial Campaign Operations Manager - Northern Cape (Fixed Term)

    Job Description
    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Developing, implementing and managing all functions of campaign operations in the province, in accordance with the standard operating procedures adopted by the Party
    • Effectively managing and directing all operations staff
    • Ensuring reliable feedback and reporting on progress from all political and staff structures
    • Ensuring clear internal communication between political and staff structures
    • Managing and monitoring the rollout of all elections including by-elections
    • Acting as the project manager of special campaigns or events
    • Designing, managing and implementing reporting systems, including reporting templates
    • Leading and managing the constituency coordinators to maximize the DA’s vote in the region, and overseeing performance in their constituencies

    • Relevant staff management experience, including on project basis or completion of the Party’s Management Readiness Programme (applicable to internal candidates)
    • Experience in project management
    • Experience in financial management
    • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
    • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans, with any other official language being advantageous
    • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for daily use
    • Knowledge of the geographical layout of the province (advantageous)
