    Assistant Restuarant Manager

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the RGM in the achievement of CHAMPS Standards within the restaurant by ensuring that all employees are focused on exceeding customer expectations for Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product and Speed of Service.
    • Learn to manage shifts in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures including directing the activities of employees in maximising sales, operating efficiency and profitability.
    • Understand how to allocate responsibilities to each employee on shift and monitor performance accordingly
    • Ensure that all employees follow correct maintenance procedures in accordance with the established maintenance roster and advise RGM of any repairs or maintenance required
    • Learn about forecasting and scheduling of labour by shift and create a deployment plan to control labour costs and meet the needs of the business by utilising tools i.e. Macromatix.
    • Support RGM to ensure that controls and procedures are implemented to protect the safety and security of employees, customers, property, and company funds/resources are protected by all employees.
    • Report to the RGM any aspects of employee relations, customer service, health inspection issues that are likely to affect the operation of the restaurant.

    Requirements

    Maintenance General Worker (Generalist) - PE and Border Area

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Routine Maintenance Tasks:

    • Perform basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
    • Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify areas needing maintenance or repair.
    • Handle maintenance tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and other building structures.

    General Repairs:

    • Replace light bulbs, repair leaky faucets, unclog drains, and fix minor electrical issues such as broken outlets or wiring problems.
    • Conduct small carpentry tasks, paint walls, and repair drywall as required.

    Electrical Maintenance:

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and general facility upkeep, particularly with refrigeration and electrical systems.
    • Knowledge of basic electrical, refrigeration( Will be advantageous), HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
    • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication skills.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Relevant technical or vocational training in refrigeration and electrical systems is a plus.
    • Minimum of 2-3 year’s experience in a similar role, with specific experience in refrigeration and electrical maintenance.
