    Receptionist

    Requirements:

    • A three-year qualification at NQF level 6 in Public Administration, Office Administration, Public Management, or any other equivalent qualification.2-3 years’ relevant experience in a customer care environment.
    • Previous proven experience as receptionist or switchboard operator would be advantageous.

    Key responsibilities and duties:

    • Handling of receptionist duties i.e. professionally handling of front office queries.

    • Respond to relevant personal, telephone, email and written enquiries and requests.
    • Ensuring front office is clean. Handling incoming and outgoing calls.
    • Accurately record messages and distribute to relevant personnel and departments.
    • Compile and update internal/ external telephone directory.
    • Supply basic information to clients about the functions of the office.
    • Records management, receiving of documents at front office and distributing to relevant staff.
    • Typing/Photocopying/Scanning.

    Supply Chain Management Practitioner

    Role Overview:

    • Supply Chain Management Practitioner: reports to the Assistant Manager: SCM and will be required to undertake the supply management processes through sourcing quotations and processing of bids in accordance with the PFMA and Treasury regulations

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • An undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) as recognized by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing Management
    • A minimum of 3 years functional experience in Supply Chain Management
    • Knowledge of SAP or equivalent Procurement system
    • Proven knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes and procedures, Treasury Regulations, PFMA, PPPFA and B-BBEE (Practice notes and code of conduct for SCM Practitioners)
    • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook).

    • Be involved in the administrative process of demand, acquisition and logistics management
    • Capture requisitions
    • Compile weekly reports on requisitions
    • Source quotations for goods and services from suppliers listed on the National Treasury Central Database (CSD)
    • Generate purchase orders
    • Capture goods receipt notes
    • Administer activities pertaining to bid administration
    • Render administrative support to the Bid Committees
    • Regularly update the contract register (Contract administration)
    • File and keep documents safe
    • Provide supervision and guidance to SCM admin clerks.

    Senior Manager: Financial Management (Readvertisement)

    Role Overview:

    • Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer: Finance, responsible for overseeing and managing the Institutional financial accounting functions to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, accounting standards, and internal policies. This role ensures accurate, timely, and complete recording of financial transactions, preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements, and coordination of risk management, internal and external audits.

    Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications and Experience:

    • A SAQA accredited postgraduate qualification (NQF8) in Finance majoring in accounting and auditing
    • Completed Trainee Accountant Programme/contract in a workplace accredited by the relevant body
    • A minimum of 8 years’ working experience and applied knowledge of GRAP standards or equivalent
    • At least five (5) years’ of working experience must have been at senior management level
    • Demonstrable 5 years’ experience in financial management, preparation of monthly management accounts and Annual Financial Statements, preferably in the Public Sector
    • Demonstrable 5 years’ experience in the application of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and National Treasury Instruction Notes in a similar environment
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation and report writing) 

    Advantages:

    • Knowledge of using SAP or SAGE accounting system and
    • CaseWare reporting.
    • Prior experience with public entities/constitutional institutions.
    • Understanding of the Public Protector’s mandate.
