    Courier Controller - 6 Months Contract

    The requirements for the role are:

    • Post Matric Qualification in logistics or relevant
    • At least 3 years in a distribution and 3PL environment

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Manage services provided by courier service providers, ensuring servicelevels are met.
    • Plan, schedule, assign, inspect, record and organise distribution operations asper agreed customer SLA’s
    • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the department, ensuring regularreviews of SOPs, and identify areas where SOPs can be improved andimplement changes accordingly.
    • Daily manage all assigned deliveries and highlight problems to clients and follow through until resolved.
    • Daily manage interfaces to ensure alignment between courier systems and company systems ensuring data integrity of information used.
    • Report, analyze, record and measure all failed deliveries and problem parcels to identify trends and root causes.
    • Maintaining good relationships and managing services of service providers and giving formally measured feedback
    • Examine claims for loss or damage and send them to the manager for approval of processing.
    • Reconciling of transport account to the agreed monthly rates and ensure that requirements have been met, and recommend payment amount to Courier Manager.

    Business Development Manager

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Deliver on sales targets focused on acquiring quality clients 
    • Creating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline with focus on key strategic clients

    Operational DC Manager

    Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Develop and execute functional operational plans that support business strategy and enable the distribution center to meet budgets, goals, targets, and due dates
    • Implement and maintain all required systems, processes, and procedures within the distribution center
    • Develop standard operating procedures for all areas and monitor and enforce compliance
    • Maximise the efficiency and productivity levels of the operation, ensure compliance with agreed standards, continuously seek to optimize processes, and find value opportunities for the division
    • Manage and report on Service Level Agreements (including overseeing management information reports if relevant)
    • Perform financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of data for the distribution center

    • Effective management of projects within the distribution center by meeting requirements of projects and adhering to deadlines
    • Identify potential risks that might affect the successful operation of the distribution centre, and put strategies and processes in place to mitigate these risks
    • Continuously assess processes and systems, and look for innovative ways to improve or introduce new processes, systems, and methods that will assist the distribution center in operating more effectively
    • Stay abreast of, evaluate, and implement appropriate modern world-class thinking in terms of distribution to ensure efficient, effective, and world-class operations

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree qualification in logistics/supply chain management
    • 5-8 years of experience in logistics/distribution.
    • Experience in managing teams
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health and Safety
    • legislation, and labor legislation.

    Data Analyst (Marketplace)

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Identify, design and implement operational automations for existing processes.
    • Investigate data sources to identify inaccuracies, and develop data cleaning processes to correct these.
    • Create bespoke analytics to advise business decisions.
    • Work with BI team to design and implement monitoring.
    • Regular reporting using BI tools, such as Looker.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Brand Strategy and  ATL campaign management.
    • Developing an integrated communications plan to increase brand awareness and recognition, incorporating ATL, PR, Retail Marketing and digital channels.

    Product Manager - Supply Chain Outbound

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Develop and execute the product roadmap for supply chain software projects.
    • Working cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and executive teams to bring about product enhancements that will move the needle on our key performance indicators.

    • If you don’t have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field, an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience, of which a minimum of 2 years experience in a Product Development environment is required.
    • Proficiency in basic SQL querying and coding is required at a minimum.
    • Experience in a supply chain or logistics environment (i.e. physical movement of goods) would be a big advantage.
