    Graphic Designer

    Job Advert Summary    

    The purpose of this role is to support the Communications Unit to deliver health messages and promote the TB HIV Care brand across a variety of platforms through graphic design, digital design, social media content and campaigns.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Graphic design qualification with digital skills
    • 2+ years’ experience in graphic design and digital campaigns 
    • Proficient in Adobe CC, Canva, Meta, Google Ads
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • SharePoint experience
    • Strong portfolio with graphic design skills (motion graphics or video editing a plus)
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Creates artwork for a wide range of platforms (infographics, flyers, social media graphics, posters, vehicle branding, billboards, apps, reports and documents, SharePoint and email templates) to correct technical specifications for platform and in line with brand and campaign guidelines • Makes recommendations on appropriate approaches for artwork.
    • Defines (where necessary) and maintains visual guidelines for campaigns
    • Keeps meticulous records of finished artwork and source files
    • Manages the purchase and appropriate use of any design or photographic material within copyright laws
    • Keeps up to date with technical requirements of different media platforms (eg. Facebook, SharePoint, Office 365)
    • Maintains and develops TB HIV Care’s brand guide, as required
    • Ensures artwork adheres to other relevant brand guidelines (e.g. funder brand guidelines, campaign brand guidelines)
    • Creates, runs and documents digital marketing campaigns, such as lead generation/boosted ad campaigns, on social media platforms

    Site Manager: Key Populations (OR Tambo, EC)

    Purpose of the position:

    The Site Manager will lead and manage THC's key populations programme, including site and mobile unit(s) development, subcontracted organisation(s) integration, and supervision of team members. The Manager will provide mentorship and guidance to team members on HIV management and ensure ART and PrEP services are provided. The Manager will also supervise health service interventions and coordinate research projects at the site level.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Degree in Nursing (BCur) or related qualification in Public Health Sciences or Social Sciences
    • Post-basic training and certification in health assessment (primary health care)
    • NIMART certification preferable
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with NIMART, ART clubs, sexual reproductive health (SRH), previous experience with  sex workers is desirable
    • Extensive experience in managing health programmes
    • Proven experience in the field of health service provision to key populations
    • Dispensing licence preferable
    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council or South African Council for Social Services Professions
    • Possess good knowledge of HIV Management including care and treatment, TB/STI and PrEP services
    • Valid code 8 driver’s licence and own transport
    • Ability to communicate in English and/or isiZulu
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Engage stakeholders in Sex Worker HIV prevention project through joint meetings, workshops attending events, collaborating on Key Population projects, etc
    • Establish, develop and build relationships with all key DOH officials deemed important for the successful functioning of the Key Populations/sex worker project
    • Participate in district, and PHC meetings; support multi-disciplinary team approach to managing clients
    • Ensure that all financial requirements are aligned with the policies and internal control processes of the organisation policies and procedures
    • Assist with all HR and operations functions
    • Assist with supportive supervision of all direct subordinates and indirect staff of collaborating organisations
    • Attend regular staff and supervisory team meetings and provide guidance and leadership
    • Situational analysis of infection control among sex workers
    • Oversee community outreach services to provide health services to sex workers including provision and access to condoms (male and female) and lubes
    • Scale up HIV targeted testing access hard to reach sex workers
    • Ensure that TB screening is done at every HIV care visit
    • Train clinical staff on infection control
    • Submit periodic reports as determined by the M&E Manager for external and internal reporting
    • Participate in implementation science projects which benefits the evolution of the programme
