    Mechatronics Engineer

    Job Description

    • Developer of high-tech instrumentation, electronics and mechanical systems seeks to employ a suitably qualified Mechatronics Engineer. You will support the team with motion control setup and fault-finding, drive setup and fault-finding, electronic, electrical, as well as electromechanical repairs and maintenance as well as support to projects during design, development, installation, acceptance testing and maintenance. Based in Cape Town.

    For the position you would be required to have:

    • MUST HAVE B. Eng/ B. Sc in Mechatronics Engineering
    • 3+ years’ experience post qualification in a similar environment
    • Mechatronic sub-system development and/or experience in the maintenance and modifications of mechatronic systems
    • Drive setup and tuning
    • Experience with Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 controllers
    • Experience using Siemens SIMATIC Motion Control and FAULHABER Motion Controllers
    • Setup and tuning of Siemens SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES and Kollmorgen AKD Servo Drives
    • Experience in motion-control and electro-mechanical integration
    • Experience in a production environment with PLC's
    • Familiarity with the LabVIEW programming language and structured software development methodologies

    Responsibilities would include you to:

    • Analyse and resolve problems on equipment and subsystems
    • Upgrade and development of motion control systems
    • Setup and configuration of motion control and drive systems
    • Fault-find and repair of motion control and drive systems
    • Develop, coordinate, and perform routine and preventative maintenance processes and procedures on electronic, electrical and electro-optical subsystems
    • Ensure configuration control of subsystems documentation
    • Subsystem performance analysis and reporting

    Job Purpose

    • Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Brand Coordinator to join their dynamic South African team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented marketing professional to support brand initiatives, enhance brand visibility, and ensure consistent brand messaging across multiple channels.
    • Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Editor, and Web Developer, the Brand Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and developing the client's visual identity across digital and print platforms, supporting marketing campaigns, and delivering creative assets that strengthen the firm's reputation and client experience while contributing to its ongoing success and growth.
    • This is a remote working opportunity, requiring availability during normal South African business hours.

    Responsibilities & Duties

    • Maintain and develop the client's visual identity and brand guidelines
    • Design creative assets for social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and website content
    • Create and maintain Figma libraries, templates, and design systems
    • Support branding across internal and external communications
    • Design brochures, presentations, guides, and promotional materials
    • Assist with website and landing page visual design
    • Support charity partnerships through co-branded campaign materials
    • Create campaign identity packs for key marketing initiatives
    • Produce graphics and visual content for office launches and location rollouts
    • Assist with basic video editing and motion graphics where required
    • Explore and utilise AI-powered design tools to improve efficiency and creativity
    • Ensure all creative output aligns with the Lyons Bowe brand

    Requirements

    • 3 to 4 years' experience in a Brand Coordinator, or similar branding and marketing role.
    • Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Art Direction, or a related field (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent combination of certifications and industry experience).
    • Strong proficiency in Figma (essential), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
    • Experience using Canva and Mailchimp; knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro would be advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and creating assets across social media, email, web, and print.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Financial Stock Controller

    Job Description
    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and reconcile inventory records between physical stock counts and ERP/accounting systems
    • Investigate stock variances, adjustments, write-offs and inventory discrepancies
    • Support regular stock counts, cycle counts and year-end inventory audits
    • Prepare and analyse inventory valuation reports in line with accounting standards
    • Track manufacturing, production and stock-related costs, including cost of goods sold
    • Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged or excess stock and provide reporting to management
    • Maintain accurate stock accounting records, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Work closely with Warehouse, Procurement, Production and Finance teams to improve stock control
    • Support internal controls around inventory movement, receiving, issuing and stock adjustments

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process customer invoices, credit notes and related documentation accurately and timeously
    • Verify delivery documentation to ensure accurate invoicing
    • Process customer returns, pallet receipts, debits and credits
    • Prepare and distribute customer statements
    • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate queries and discrepancies
    • Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve account-related queries
    • Maintain accurate debtor records and supporting documentation
    • Ensure compliance with company financial controls and procedures
    • Assist with month-end activities and audit requirements
