    District Manager: Thohoyandou (Limpopo)

    Description

    • Recruit  high  quality  representatives  timeously  and  accurately
    • Ensure  that  appointed  representatives  are  adequately  trained
    • Manage  a  team  of   insurance  representatives  optimally
    • Ensure  that  the  set  insurance  sales  targets  are  reached
    • Ensure  and  monitor  compliance  with  respect  to  FAIS/FICA/LTIA  and  all  other  relevant  legislation

    Requirements

    • Grade  12
    • A  suitable  industry  entry  qualification  within  the  requirements  of  the  FSCA
    • Comply with FAIS legislation for registration as Fit and Proper individuals:
    • Applicants who entered the industry as follows:
    • From years 2004 – 2007 requires 30 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2009.
    • From years 2008 - 2009 requires 30 credits or 60 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2011 or full FAIS recognised qualification obtained by 31 December 2013
    • All those appointed in the industry from the year 2010 onwards require a full FAIS recognised qualification
    • Clear ITC
    • Clear criminal record
    • RE5  certificate
    • RE1  will  be  an  advantage
    • Drivers’  license,  own  reliable  transport  and  cell  phone

    Senior Clerk: Persal and Electronics (Centurion)

    Description

    • Sorting of daily Persal and Electronics correspondence.
    • Provide training and assistance to subordinates.
    • Handling of telephonic and written queries and assisting with Complaints investigations.
    • Capturing and processing of daily correspondence and discrepancy reports.
    • Attending to the daily discrepancy reports in accordance with the proses as stipulated in the procedure manual.

    • Un-allocated amounts should be attended to on a daily and monthly basis.
    • Monitor the scheduling of program as stipulated on the ICT schedule.
    • Attend to the transactions on the 1st Provisional Lapse Run Report.
    • Provisional and final lapses work sheet under V/Drive.
    • Maintain effective personnel administration and render training and support.
    • Assist with the Performance Appraisal of subordinates.
    • Compile monthly stats report of the post/ correspondence that was worked on throughout the month.
    • Maintain a high standard of communication across all levels and Departments internally and externally

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • 2 – 3 Years’ relevant experience (Long Term Insurance experience will be an advantage).
    • Good communication skills.
    • Computer literate (MS Office and MS Excel).
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Be accurate and figure orientated (compile reconciliations).
