    Senior Finance Data Analyst (12 Months FTC)

    Purpose of the Job

    • We are looking for a skilled Finance & Accounting Data and Automation Analyst with a strong background in finance, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience using Microsoft Power Automate to enhance data management and process efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at data analysis, report generation, and workflow automation, supporting finance teams by creating reliable, automated, and data-driven solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Finance Data Analysis, Structuring & Reporting:

    • Perform in-depth structuring using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyse data sets, model scenarios, and produce insights.
    • Build, maintain, and refine complex Excel models with formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and advanced functions to support various finance processes.

    Process Automation with Power Automate:

    • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows in Power Automate to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce errors, and improve data accuracy in finance operations.
    • Integrate Excel with other Microsoft applications (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Teams) using Power Automate, automating data inputs, notifications, and report distribution.
    • Continuously monitor and troubleshoot workflows to optimize performance and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable

    Financial Data Management & Integrity:

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial models and automated workflows, implementing robust data validation and control measures.
    • Work with the finance team to identify data gaps and opportunities for automation and implement enhancements using Excel and Power Automate.
    • Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy across financial systems and workflows.

    Cross-Department Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to understand financial data needs and automate reporting processes.
    • Provide training and support to team members on best practices for using Excel and Power Automate in finance tasks.
    • Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting Excel and Power Automate issues, and identify solutions that enhance team efficiency.

    Continuous Improvement & Documentation:

    • Stay up-to-date on new Excel and Power Automate features, integrating relevant updates into finance processes.
    • Document all automated workflows, Excel models, and reporting processes for easy access and knowledge sharing across the finance team.
    • Proactively seek opportunities to improve workflows and reporting efficiency, suggesting new tools or methods where beneficial.

    Key skills and experience to be evidenced within your application include

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
    • Experience: Experience in a finance and accounting data analysis role with a proven track record of using Excel and Power Automate for process automation.

    Technical Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros, data visualization, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate, with experience creating, testing, and maintaining workflows.
    • Familiarity with other Microsoft tools, such as Power BI, Power Query, and SharePoint is a plus.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse large datasets, interpret data structures, and provide automation producing actionable insights.
    • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a focus on data accuracy and quality control.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with financial software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics).
    • Certification in Microsoft Office Specialist (Excel Expert) or Microsoft Power Automate is a plus

    Treasury Analyst

    Purpose of the Job

    • This role gives the individual extensive Treasury exposure to the global Group. Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, this role will support the group in the management of the operational treasury activities. This will include supporting the management of liquidity, foreign exchange, cross currency swaps, investments, debt and treasury technology.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Global cash management for purposes of cash visibility and forecast planning. This will include the weekly cash position report of global cash balances.
    • Global daily cash and FX management which will include trading FX transactions with approved banking partners.
    • Investigate any cash management issues as and when required for internal and external support.
    • Cash concentration and funding of Collinson entities as and when required including daily cash pool reconciliation.
    • Ensure timely settlement of Treasury related transactions within a controlled environment.
    • Reconciling daily cash variances for the Treasury entity.
    • Run the Global intercompany monthly netting program.
    • Distribution of foreign exchange rates and interest rates used across the Group by finance and non-finance teams.
    • Interaction with key Banking partners for bank related matters such as payments.
    • Maintenance and recording of all Treasury related transactions (funding, deposits, investments, FX trades) including drawing down or repaying against the Group’s credit facilities where appropriate.
    • Execution and documentation of the group foreign exchange hedging.
    • Assist with any Treasury and management reporting.
    • Preparation of bank and lender compliance reports.

    Other

    • Provide assistance with on-going Treasury projects where required.
    • Support with any Treasury related audit requests.
    • Provide support with issuing any Trade LCs, guarantees, credit cards and completion of any treasury related documentation.

    Key skills and experience to be evidenced within your application included;

    • You will be a minimum of degree educated, preferably in a finance discipline.
    • Experience in a similar role and looking to broaden your range of Treasury skills in a fast-moving role within a growing and changing business.
    • An accountancy and/or Treasury qualification.
    • Experience of FX risk management and an understanding of clearing banking and treasury systems.
    • Advanced Excel skills preferred

    Core competencies

    • Able to work in an organised and methodical way so that internal and external deadlines are met in a timely manner. Priorities can change daily, calling for someone who is diligent, organised and able to work under pressure.
    • Preferably able to display a knowledge of banking and financial transactions and products, including payments/borrowing facilities/online banking.
    • A practical hands-on attitude is required together with the ability and initiative to suggest and implement process change.
    • Able to work effectively with people across all areas of the businesses and build effective working relationships, whilst also being comfortable working unsupervised. Owing to significant growth, the Group is undergoing a period of transition in the way that it operates globally, and the individual will be required to find their feet quickly in order to assist the Senior Treasury Manager in dealing with these changes
