    4x Assistant General Worker (North West)

    PURPOSE

    • To provide general site assistance and support.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with site teams to support the achievement of operational goals and targets.
    • Assist with daily inspections of the designated area of responsibility, report any deviations or hazards.
    • Assist with problem-solving of operational challenges and escalate deviations to site teams.
    • Assist with any general assigned site activities as required to support operations.
    • Perform basic housekeeping duties in work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Execute all assigned tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    Project Administrator (Mpumalanga)

    PURPOSE

    • To provide administrative, coordination, reporting, and project support services to the Business Development Department, ensuring the efficient execution of business development initiatives, proposals, studies, projects, and strategic growth activities across the business.
    • The role will serve as a central coordination point for departmental activities, supporting project managers and business development personnel with planning, reporting, document control, stakeholder engagement, and governance requirements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project Coordination and Administration

    • Maintain project action registers, schedules, and trackers.
    • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
    • Track project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
    • Assist with project planning and reporting activities.
    • Follow up on action items and support close-out of outstanding tasks.
    • Interpret plans and construction materials to propose quantity estimates, double-check BOQs and determine and compile physical construction progress reports.
    • Identify and resolve deviations from the proposal, including scope and specifications.
    • Oversee work progress, complete logs, and update supervisors about challenges.
    • Write up technical reports, subcontracts, purchase orders, project updates, and proposals.
    • Manage departmental filing systems and document repositories.
    • Maintain proposal, tender, and opportunity records.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards.
    • Compile meeting packs, agendas, and minutes.
    • Ensure version control and document governance requirements are met.

    Compliance and Business development support

    • Review project documents and establish pricing for all the projects in a specific geographic area.
    • Responsible for reviewing project specifications and working in close collaboration with the project manager when performing their duties.
    • Assist the project manager with the plan of construction, solicits and obtains bids from subcontractors
    • Help the contractor in winning bids so that the work can be increased.
    • Reviewing the data and documents like analysis reports, purchase orders and subcontracts.
    • Responsible of making a database for all the documents that are to be maintained in order to help in the smooth working of the contractor.
    • Prepare updates and project estimates.
    • Arrange collection of tender documents
    • BOQ on Excel (CCS & WinQS if possible)
    • Assist with updating of prices/worksheets in Excel or CCS if required.
    • Tender Success Analysis (Year to date Programme)
    • Preparing quality tender submissions/Presentations by deadline.
    • Tender Expressions of Interest
    • Tender Brag sheets / Project Sheets
    • Compilation of Risk Documents
    • Compilation of SHEQ packs for tender submissions, including STATS
    • Vendor Registrations
    • Keeping track of the Project Pipeline
    • Assist with preparation and submission of proposals and tender documentation.
    • Support market research and business intelligence activities.
    • Maintain opportunity pipelines and customer databases.
    • Coordinate inputs from technical and commercial teams.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12
    • 3-year Degree or Diploma in technical or projects fields

    EXPERIENCE

    • A prior work experience of at least 4 years in Construction or Mineral Processing projects

    SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    • Should be excellent in customer service skills and know how to do his work properly with providing customer satisfaction.
    • Should have good communication skills.
    • Should have good command on vocabulary so that he can convey his thoughts to others effectively.
    • Should be able to work under constant pressure and perform well in order to complete the required targets.
    • Should be good in mathematics, especially in algebra so that he can do the necessary calculations with ease.

    Quality Assurance Controller (Mokopane)

    PURPOSE

    • This role exists to ensure that products or services consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. It involves establishing clear quality objectives, defining measurable standards, implementing effective control processes, and ensuring the organization can consistently deliver offerings that are high in quality, reliable, and efficient.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Planning and Reporting

    • Perform inspections of output samples using industry-standard methods, including comparison to specifications, dimensional measurements, and functional evaluations.
    • Review blueprints and technical specifications to verify product conformity.
    • Train production teams on quality control procedures to enhance product excellence and reduce defects.
    • Oversee and ensure the overall quality of all products manufactured by the company.
    • Independently implement all quality assurance and control activities, including procedure development, record keeping, risk assessments, staff training, audits, hygiene protocols, pest control, equipment calibration, and verification processes.
    • Identify and propose improvements to production processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
    • Monitor equipment usage to ensure safety and discard any tools or machinery that fail to meet operational standards.
    • Compile and report monthly quality trends and performance metrics to senior management.
    • Analyze statistical quality data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
    • Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans tailored to product specifications.
    • Manage interim quality control measures and ensure continuity of standards.

     Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Responsibilities

    • Understand and apply health and safety regulations, ensuring risk mitigation within designated areas of responsibility.
    • Ensure team compliance with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards and take corrective action to address non-conformances.
    • Verify that all laboratory equipment meets SHE compliance requirements.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • B-Tech degree or equivalent qualification in Quality Assurance.
    • Certification in Quality Engineering, Quality Auditing, Six Sigma, or as a Quality Improvement Associate will be considered an advantage.

    EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of 3 years in related field.
