    Retail Sales Associate - Cape Town

    Job Purpose
    Assist management in day to day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    •  Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
    •  As needed, completes any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.
    •  Involved indirectly with ticketing of products as well as checking paperwork against items received.
    •  Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill in basis.
    •  Ensure that Company assets and stock is always secured in order to alleviate shrinkage.
    •  Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follow suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.
    •  Attain proficiency with the point of sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.

    Multi Store Manager - Johannesburg

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation 

    •  Drive all stores profitability by meeting or exceeding all sales and profit targets

    Key Responsibilities 

    •  Take full ownership of all stores and its commercial success and support District Manager in the commercial success of the district 
    •  Analyse relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo within stores and district

    Senior Specialist Category Management - Training & Specialist Sports Em South

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: 

    • The purpose of the Category Management team is to develop locally relevant product ranges by category to best meet the needs of the local consumers, profitably.

    For this role specifically: 

    • Deliver a globally aligned and locally relevant product range for EMS, focusing on delivering the company sales growth aspirations per sales channel 
    • Sustainably grow profitability and market share for each category
    • Support the seasonal go-to-market (GTM) process to build the optimal product offering, considering the unique local consumer and channel requirements.
    • Be the product expert and provide the relevant support for all Marketing GTM plans

    Key Responsibilities:  

    • Deliver a compelling range/concept selection for EMS by balancing local consumer, global brand and commercial considerations and supporting the overall business strategy of the channels. 
    • Lead GTM process to engage channels and customers and collaboratively build the strongest viable product mix.
    • Deliver net sales and profitability (GIM) by managing pricing, margin, and the product mix.
    • Ownership of product demand forecasting which most accurately reflects the customer and consumer demand in the market.
    • Seasonal analysis of marketplace to understand trends, competitor product assortments and pricing.
    • Proactively drive cluster range enhancements that meet local needs and reflect differentiation in marketplace where required. Work closely with the HUB BU’s and local-souring apparel team to deliver these.

    Human Resource Specialist - Em South

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation

    Works closely with the Human Resource Business Partners and Payroll team to ensure the overall HR operations and administration of the Retail and Backoffice departments are running efficiently and accurately. Partners with Human Resource Business Partners as key stakeholders as well as Retail Store Manager, Deputy Managers and District Managers for any IR related cases to ensure a seamless execution of all HR administration. 

    Key Responsibilities
    Payroll and Administration

    •  Creation of all new contracts of employment for Retail through input and instruction from the HRBPs, including preparation of all forms and documents for Benefits providers.
    •  Creation of onboarding packs for all new starters, includes all starter administration; access cards  etc. 
    •  To ensure segregation of duties, collate all payroll information for all Retail movements; new  joiners, terminations, promotions and any other employee movements onto the Retail smartsheets to hand over to the Payroll Administrator for all monthly input on        SAP.
    •  Ensure all policies; processes and agreements are up to date for all HR.
    •  Complete exit interviews with all Deputy & Store Managers where required.
    •  Work closely with the payroll team to ensure data accuracy for retail.
    •  All payroll filing and maintaining employee records both hard copy and online, as well as archiving.
    •  Manage all the visas, service letters and bank letters or any additional admin request from employees.
    •  Ensure all long service employees within Retail are highlighted; letters created and signed and added to the necessary checklists for payments. 
    •  Update org charts monthly and share with relevant individuals.

    Employee Relations

    •   Together with the HRBP and relevant District Managers or Store Managers, manage all employeerelations (IR) incidences which occur within stores.
    •   Be the main point of contact for all IR related issues for all the retail team. 
    •   When required, represent the company at CCMA.
    •   Train and empower Store Managers to make decisions and issue disciplinary action according to the  Disciplinary Code.
    •   Train the Store Managers on all IR-related content when and if required to ensure a level of self- sufficiency on more simple employee relation issues in store.
    •   Manage service level agreements and relationship with LabourNet in supporting on all IR matters where needed.
    •   Visit stores and staff across the region

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

    •  Relevant Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma.  
    •  3+ years working experience within an HR department of a medium-large size organization, with proven track record in employee relations matters. 
    •  Proven track record in learning and development.  

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    •   Able to consult and coach the business on all HR/ people related topics.
    •   Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
    •   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as policies and procedures.
    •   Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and     percentages.  
    •   Intermediate level for MS Office applications.  
    •   Ability to communicate and influence effectively in English, both written and oral.
    •   Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
    •   Ability to build rapport and relationships and influence key stakeholders.
    •   Ability to effectively present to moderate size groups.
