    Specialist: Digital Customer Experience

    Job Summary:

    The Digital Specialist is responsible for all web and digital topics which are customer facing and related to Retail Sales and Aftersales. The role serves as vital support for the marketing team for new model launches and key customer entry points into the sales funnel and to ensure continuous customer engagement.

    • Design, build and maintain the BMW digital platforms as required by BMW AG and local business needs. 
    • Responsible for the My BMW App and related requirements to optimize customer communication and interaction with the app. 
    • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights on digital tools within area of responsibility. 
    • Collaborate with internal IT team to maintain digital platforms and optimize user experience. 
    • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points. 
    • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels. 
    • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate. 
    • Responsible for the testing of new app and web features prior to roll-out to customers. 
    • Responsible for the review and upload of content to the explore tab.
    • Align all new features and local roadmap with both AG and local stakeholders. 
    • Implement and steer measures required to achieve digital KPIs.
    • Ensure accurate web tracking in place and support campaign implementation. 
    • Manage the rollout of all new web content, including all SOCs.
    • Attend required IT meetings and steering of topics as required to meet deliverables. 
    • Analyze website and app surveys and ratings to identify areas requiring improvement.
    • Stay abreast of digital trends and competitor digital landscape.
    • Support CBS strategy planning, design, and implementation for digital touchpoints. 
    • Review and steer all compliance requirements relating to customer facing digital touchpoints.  

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Business Management.
    • Proven working experience in digital marketing (3+ years).
    • Digital and/or web experience and change management. 
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and customer journeys. 
    • Experience in Adobe analytics considered advantageous. 
    • Openness and willingness to learn and self-develop.
    • Ability to deliver exquisite results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Assertiveness and ability to present your work on management level and to multiple audiences at different levels.
    • Report writing and communication skills.
    • High level of attention to detail.
    • Self-starter who takes initiative.
    • High analytical, strategic, conceptual thinking, very assertive, confident, and firm decision-making ability.

    Machine Operator

    Job Summary

    • To support the team in achieving all Product, Process and System Quality targets.
    • Responsible for ensuring all electrical and mechanical equipment in his supervision are maintained and in good working condition.
    • Support the production team in achieving the Production volume, by quick response to breakdowns.
    • Fault finding on the integrated systems.
    • Eliminating electrical equipment failure by means of preventative maintenance.
    • Monitor and control the execution of all maintenance work performed by the artisans to ensure the timeous completion of the work to the required standards.
    • Part loading to fixtures.
    • Quality inspection during build (before and after part loading).
    • Quality inspection after build process is completed.
    • Reporting nonconformity of products.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum N3 Certificate (Technical).
    • Qualified Trade (Electrical, Mechanical or Millwright).
    • Fluent verbal/written in English.
    • Three years’ experience in an Automotive Bodyshop Production Plant.
    • Bodyshop Technology Experience as an added advantage.
